Great house and location

Stayed at the house for three nights in Jan 09. It is a beautiful house with lovely views and excellent staff. Its perched on a hill top overlooking the Bushmans River mouth and the ebb and flow of the tide is a constantly moving picture. The shadows across the white sand dunes are fantastic.
We went for B&B option and had our breakfast sitting on the deck overlooking the bay and pool. Kenton has two great family beaches and Canon Rocks, close by, is a brillant example of a "near to" wild coast beach with shifting sand dunes and even a ship wreck. Could not recommend this place enough. Regretted not spending more time on the Eastern Coast instead of the slightly overrated Garden Route.
Kariega game reserve, among many other private reserves, is 15km from the house and we found a stay here to be ideal after a couple of days in a reserve.
