We found this apartment to be truly excellent!! Firstly, we have to compliment Loraine, the owner, for her friendly and helpful communication from the time of our booking to the time of our holiday, it set us up nicely for enjoying our relaxing holiday!
The apartment was spotless on arrival, and the welcome pack was waiting in the kitchen. The property is well equipped and is very tastefully decorated, with pale oak furniture and brown leather seating. Although we went in peak season, we found the apartment block to be fairly quiet, allowing us to take full advantage of the communal pool and sun loungers. The second ‘roof top’ pool and other facilities of the adjacent Block 1 were still not complete, although didn’t appear to be too far off completion and they should add to the overall experience when open. We found the location of King’s Apartments to be ideal, with all amenities within very easy walking distance and yet the property is just far enough away from the main hub to still allow for a relaxing time. The Tomb of the Kings heritage site is quite literally only just across the road.
There’s plenty of eateries to chose from, with the most local being Karlina’s which is very good and offers a warm welcome and is family friendly. We also ate on a number of occasions in neighbouring Kato Pafos, heading for the choice on offer around the Poseidonas Avenue area, with the restaurants of Adelaida and Happy Island being our favourites. The guest folder within the apartment provides a good source of ideas of where is good to eat, drink or go sightseeing.
Having use of a hire car adds to the ease of the holiday, although is not essential. The best local beach to head to is Coral Bay, about a 15 minute drive up the road. There’s plenty of free parking available and the beach is catered for with sunloungers/parasols and a beach bar/café. For an altogether quieter ‘no frills’ alternative beach then the stretch at Argaka (east of Polis) is excellent and can be accessed from most places off the quiet costal road.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment and can highly recommend!!
