Our villa is situated on the luxury Polaris World La Torre Golf Resort, on the Costa Calida, Spain. It is available to let all year round, in one of Spain's sunniest spots. Ideal for families or golfers alike, this beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, high-spec detached villa sleeps 6 people comfortably. It offers a stylish lounge & dining area, separate kitchen/utility, large outdoor dining patio with family hot-tub, garden and private roof terrace. We are 2 minutes walk from a well-stocked supermarket and communal swimming pools and 5 minutes from the lakeside Town Centre, with bars, restaurants, gym & spa, golf clubhouse and 5* hotel. The superb 18-hole golf course is part of the Jack Nicklaus Golf Trail. For non-golfers, activities nearby include many unspoilt beaches, water sports, water/zoo parks, walking trails, cultural sightseeing & excellent shopping. This is a Spanish residential and holiday area, not a tourist trap, so you are surrounded by real Spanish culture and cuisine.

The resort is situated amongst citrus groves in this market garden area and is about 15 minutes from the unspoilt coast and waters of the Mar Menor. This inland sea, separated from the Mediterranean by a long strip of land, makes it safe and warm for bathing, and an ideally sheltered spot to learn water sports. The nearest beach is at Los Narejos, near San Javier. Although in a rural area, La Torre Golf Resort is well served by an efficient road network that makes exploring very easy. Within 30 mins drive there are many beaches and coves, many other golf courses, cultural sightseeing is on offer in the local villages, and the cities of Cartagena and Murcia provide fantastic shopping opportunities. Further Inland there are several large National Parks which provide many excellent outdoor activity pursuits. There is a choice of airports served by UK budget airlines, with Murcia (San Javier) 15 mins and Alicante 50 mins away. Car hire is highly recommended to best appreciate the area.

Many of the budget airlines fly daily from UK airports to both Murcia (San Javier) and Alicante airports, so short last-minute breaks in Spain are a very attractive temptation, as well as longer planned holiday stays, especially when the British weather can be so poor ! Flexible and short lets are always available. A discount applies to bookings of longer than 7 nights. All linen, towels and cleaning fees are included in our rental price. Please note that the villa cannot normally be occupied before 15.00 hours on the day of your arrival and you are asked to vacate the villa before 10.00 hours on the day of departure. It may be possible to change these times to suit your travel arrangements. Notes to the rental rates

A non-refundable 20% deposit will be required at the Confirmation of a Rental Booking.
Full payment of remaining Rental Balance + a £150 returnable Security deposit, is required 8 weeks before travel, or immediately if booking is made at short notice or within this 8 week period.
The Security deposit will be returned to the client within 14 days of departure following a post-visit inspection, provided there is no damage to the property.
All linens (including bath and beach towels) and cleaning charges are all included in the above rental rates. A basic welcome pack is also included.

| Notes: | Our aim is to provide a relaxing, stress-free, quality holiday. The villa is fully air-conditioned and centrally heated. It is roomy and spacious throughout, with ample storage. The large private rear patio area provides for all-year outdoor dining and contains the luxurious family-sized Hot-tub. We are situated in a quiet street yet within a couple of minutes stroll of the well-stocked supermarket and shop and only a short stroll to a choice of communal swimming pools, children's play areas and the impressive town centre with golf clubhouse, lakeside bars and restaurants, 5* hotel and spa. This is a perfect self-contained luxury resort, but with wonderful areas of the unspoilt Spain to explore right on your doorstep. All linens provided in the rental price, including bath and beach towels. Children's highchair or travel cot are available for a small additional cost. One of the extra-special features of our villa is the private family-sized hot-tub which is located on the large rear outdoor dining patio area. Soothe away the strains, stresses, aches and pains of your day in the comfort of your own secluded garden. Whether it be from a long hot day on the fairways, a hectic day of shopping in the city, a day of outdoor pursuits or just simply exploring the delights of the Spanish countryside, your relaxing hot spa and a cool glass of cava awaits you. This Hotsprings Tiger River spa seats 5 people in comfort and includes one lounger seat for the ultimate in relaxation and enjoyment. The powerful, adjustable water jet systems provide you with the best in hydro-massage therapy and relaxation. The simple, easy to use jet controls ensure you get the most from your spa experience. Note: The spa is professionally maintained throughout the year to ensure that the water in the unit is always kept at optimum freshness and cleanliness for your comfort.
Rear Patio and Garden:
Our secluded, extended rear patio and garden provides a mix of all day sunshine areas and pleasant shaded areas for your use dependant on your personal preference. The bamboo-topped pergola, covering the outdoor dining and relaxation area, provides a shaded area to escape the extreme of the midday sunshine or a just pleasant refuge for those who may prefer a slightly cooler environment during the day. This shaded pergola area is furnished with a large wooden patio table and 6 wooden reclining patio chairs with cushion pads and is perfect for outdoor dining either during the daytime or in the pleasant summer evenings. A small gas barbecue is also provided in this area for your use. The hot-tub is located on another part of the patio open area, as are the garden sun loungers. There is also a small grassed area which provides an alternative to the patio area.
Roof Solarium:
For the real sun-lovers, there is a large open rooftop solarium which gets the all-day Spanish sunshine. This rooftop area, accessed by the external covered stairway, is furnished with sun loungers, a small patio table and chairs, and a sun umbrella. The folding chairs and umbrella on this solarium are very lightweight so they can be easily transported to the poolside or the beach.

Our villa is situated on the new Polaris World La Torre Golf Resort which boasts a superb 18-hole golf course designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus. The La Torre course is just one of the several new Jack Nicklaus courses being developed with Polaris World in the Murcia area. These 8 Polaris World resort courses, which include duplicates of many of JN's signature golf holes from around the world, will eventually form the heart of the Nicklaus Golf Trail, the largest golfing experience in Europe....all within a 25 kilometre radius of the La Torre resort. When renting our villa you will be eligible for discounted golf rates on all the Nicklaus Golf Trail courses that are completed. Details on application. With the La Torre resort being situated centrally between Murcia and Cartagena it is ideally placed within 1 hours drive of approximately another 40 popular courses in the Murcia and Valencia regions, including La Manga Club, Hacienda del Alamo, Mosa Trajectum, Pereleja Golf, Roda Golf, La Finca and Serena Golf...to mention but a few. A real golfing paradise!

We had a wonderful relaxing time staying at this villa and can thoroughly recommend it and the resort to anyone looking for something a bit special.
The photos and description of the villa/resort area (on the website) do not do it justice, especially the patio area and hot-tub. From sunbathing on the patio (yes ! get a tan early March) or reading a book in the shade under the bamboo-roofed pergola, to relaxing, in the evening, in a steaming hot-tub with a bottle of bubbly; its all there at the villa.
Was impressed with the golf courses at La Torre and the nearby Polaris resort of El Valle. Different in design, but both requiring accuracy in shot placement and club selection. The discounted green fee form from the owner available for villa clients, was appreciated. The La Torre clubhouse and town centre restaurants, around the lake, offer stunning balcony views of the course and landscaped gardens,
Off-Resort you can walk in the hills and mountains of the Sierra Espuna National Park, in the morning and paddle in the warm waters of the Mar Menor in the afternoon.
The bars and restaurants on the resort can be frequented as often or as little as you like, as the kitchen at the villa contains everything you need to home cook and the supermarket is 1 min away.
The Visitors Guide Book supplied at the villa contains useful information on recommended restaurants in the area. Can particularly recommend the Wok Buffet in Los Alcazares or San Javier, if you like chinese and stirfry. As much food as you like for less than 10 euro per person.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone. So much so, we are hoping to return next year.
