The location is in the heart of the historic area of Venice, Few steps to the famous Rialto bridge and 10 minute walk to st. Marks, A walking distance to all tourist attractions museums, monuments churches and gondola-rides. Restaurants, typical venetian wine bars, all kinds of stores are around the corner. The area is lively but the location is quiet. Easy, very easy to get here from the port, airport, train station, car park. On the ground floor of a centuries old building the apartments were recently restored and furnished with modern appliances, but the original wooden beams are still there giving cosy antique venetian atmosphere. Adjacent but separate and autonomous units, each with bath with shower and kitchenette: a studio-apartment (about 16 square meters) for couples and the 'one bedroom apartment' (about 35 sq. Meters) that can accommodate up to 5 people. Usual comment of my guests: 'what we were looking for: affordable, cosy, comfortable and in a perfect central location'.

Perfect location, absolutely excellent. Perfect for 2 people who want to experience Venice in the heart of everything. Nice simple bedsit style apartment. It's not luxury but great value for money

My cosy little hideaway.

I love Venice and staying here put us in a wonderful area. We felt like locals. Going to the market buying fish, veggies and getting our fresh bread in the mornings. Carlo's wife showed us a great place to eat, went back for seconds. You know you are in the right place when it is full of locals. Thank you for our Anniversary gift. We called our home in Venice our Cave. Venice was my husband's favorite site. I would love to come back, but there is so many other places I want to see. But, when I return, I hope to stay here again.

Better pay more and take a hotel !

stayed here for 4 days...

positive aspects:
- studio is in the city
- nice and friendly landlord, good English speaking guy
- could leave our luggage until the evening

some shortcomings:
- uncomfortable "bed"
- a little smelly in the room
- mildew in the shower and at the wall in the bathroom
- half loose toilet seat
- dirty dishes
- dark room during day, light during night (street lamps)

=> too expensive for what you get !
