This light and airy apartment has everything that you and your family could want for a relaxing holiday by the beach. Whether you want to just sit and let the hours drift away with a good book or hit the ocean kite surfing you will enjoy the atmosphere of this beautiful coast. Children will love the beach and you will enjoy the wide open spaces and fantastic sunsets from the beach or balcony. Situated just outside the charming village of Zahara de los Atunes you have access to any number of wonderful restaurants, cafes and tapas bars. The apartment has an amazing roof terrace to while away the hours watching the ships on the horizon and the children can swim in safety in the supervised communal pool. Jerez + Gibraltar are the nearest airports but Zahara is also easily reached from both Malaga and Seville. Don't worry! We will give you directions when you book.

The is a very historic area with Cape Trafalgar a short drive away. Jerez has wonderful architecture and is home to The Royal Spanish Riding School and traditional sherry bodegas - well worth a visit. Cadiz has the old port and fort and is steeped in medieval history. In land you will find 'White Villages, such as Vejer de la Frontera - 30 minutes' drive and definitely worth a visit with tiny, winding streets and Moorish architecture. Seville is a 2 hour drive with the beautiful central Juderia and fabulous palaces and cathedral. Larger towns in the area include Algeciras and Chiclana. Gibraltar about 90 minutes' drive. In a day, you can explore the history of this tiny British enclave. If you are yearning for brown sauce or baked beans this is the place to go! There's Tarifa, great old town, windsurfing capital, Whale + Dolphin Watching boat trips and a fast ferry to Morocco. Smaller towns include Conil and Barbate both typical busy Spanish towns.

  • The bedrooms all have fitted wardrobes. The two lower bedrooms share a large bath / shower room and the upper bedroom has its own shower room. All rooms have large windows and shutters and the upstairs room leads out on to the roof terrace. On your arrival, you will have bed linen, bath and beach towels. Hair-dryers are provided. This apartment is also comfortable in the autumn winter months, with duvets, rugs and heaters. All the rooms have bed throws and curtains and have recently been re decorated.

Notes: The apartment is on the 3rd floor, which is also the top floor of the block. There is a lift from the garage or ground level directly to the apartment. All doors are of a standard size and the surface is level from the lift and through the lower floor of the apartment except for a small lip to get out onto the lower balcony. The gardens are mature and are for the guests in the apartment block only as this is a gated community. There is an intercom to the apartment from the pedestrian entrance gate. The pool is for the guests at the apartments only and is set in the gardens. There is a nominated car parking space in the underground car park plus safe road parking at the entrance to the apartments. There is heating in the winter (central heating not necessary) and rugs if required. Children's be provided on your arrival but MUST be requested in advance.

Beach and Surrounding Area: The beach is simply amazing! 12km of golden sand behind natural dunes. Although the Atlantic is tidal you will never be short of space on this beach. There are great beach bars with evening entertainment during the high season and water sports facilities are available for the more energetic. If you enjoy golf, there are several golf courses within 30 - 45 mins drive. You can go horse riding on the beach or walk in the nearby forests and hills. One of the best things is to watch the setting sun over a cool drink at one of the beach bars. It just doesn't get better than that!

Bars and Restaurants: There are lots of restaurants and bars open in the high season (mid-June to mid-September). Out of season, there are always some open. Bars, restaurants and food shops are all within walking distance of the apartment and are very laid back. Children are always welcome. In the village of Zahara de los Atunes there are more tapas bars and restaurants plus the local fresh market and a great patisserie! Just mooch through the little streets and take in the very Spanish atmosphere. The village is about a 15 minute walk along the road or 20 mins on the beach and there are taxis in the village if you feel too tired to walk back! By the way, if you're looking for discos, nightclubs and English breakfast you will HATE it here as they simply don't exist! However, if you like the thought of great music on the beach at night, step right up!. And there are great chill bars with romantic lighting, comfortable lounging chairs and fabulous music way into the night.

How to rent: Just contact me and having checked the availability all you need to do is send a deposit that will secure your booking, a month prior to departure the balance will be due and then you will receive your reservation documents. If you would like a car hired for you this is possible and will need to be paid for upon arrival by credit or debit card. We don't put anything on the price of the hire cars.
