This airy light apartment has all the amenities that you and your family could require for a relaxing holiday at the beach. Whether you want to just sit and drift away the hours with a good book or hit the ocean kite surfing you will enjoy the atmosphere of this beautiful coast. Children will love the beach and you will enjoy the wide open spaces and fantastic sunsets from the beach or balcony. Situated just outside the compact village of Zahara de los Atunes you have access to beaches and forests alike. The apartment has an amazing top terrace to while away the hours watching the ships on the horizon and the children can swim in safety in the garden pool. Jerez is the nearest airport but Zahara is easily reached from both Malaga and Seville airports as well. We will give you directions and can help you hire a car as well.

The area is very historic with Cape Trafalgar a short drive away. Jerez`has some wonderful architecture plus is home to The Spanish riding school and the traditional sherry bodegas, well worth a visit. Cadiz has the old port and fort and is steeped in medieval history. In land you will find small 'White Villages' such as Vejer de la Frontera again well worth a visit with their tiny winding streets and Moorish architecture, Saville is a 2 hour drive away with the beautiful central Juderia and historic palaces and cathedral. Larger towns in the area include Algeciras where the ferry goes from and a little further is Gibraltar and the history of that tiny British enclave. If you are yearning for brown sauce or baked beans this is the place to go! Samller towns include Conil and Barbate both typical busy Spanish towns.

  • We offer discounts for 2 week breaks of approximately £100 per booking.
    We ask for a booking deposit of 30%of the value of the rental to be paid to secure the booking with the balance being paid cash in Spain. There is no return of the deposit within 30 days of the arrival date. A deposit of 200 euros cash is taken upon arrival in case of damage or key loss and all deposits will be returned within 7 days of the holiday completion.

  • The lower bathroom is spacious and well lit and has a shaver socket. The upper shower room is smaller but plenty large enough for 2 people and again has a shaver socket.

  • The bedrooms all have central fans and plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. The two lower bedrooms share a large bath / shower room and the upper bedroom has its own shower room. All the rooms have large windows and shutters and the upstairs room leads out on to the roof terrace. Enough laundry is put into the apartment on your arrival along with towels and beach towels There are hairdryers on site. All the rooms have bed throws and curtains and have recently been re decorated.

Notes:

The apartment is on the 3rd and 4th floors but there is a lift from the garage or ground level directly to the apartment. All doors are of a standard size and the surface is level from the lift and through the lower floor of the apartment except for a small lip to get out onto the lower balcony. The gardens are mature and are for the guests in the apartment block only these are gated and there is an intercom through to the apartment. The pool is also for the guests at the apartments only and is set in the gardens. There is a nominated car parking space in the underground car park plus safe road parking at the entrance to the apartments. There is heating in the winter but not central heating and rugs if required. Children's high chairs and cots can be requested in advance and will be put into the apartment upon your arrival but MUST be requested in advance.

Beach and Surrounds

The beach is simply amazing, 15K of golden sand with a backdrop of dunes. Although the Atlantic is tidal you will never be squashed for space on this beach. There are good beach bars with evening entertainment during the high season and there are many water sports available for the more energetic. For those of you who enjoy golf there are several golf courses in the vicinity along with horse riding, bike hire and lots of walking in the mountains and forests near to hand. My favorite is to wander down the beach as the sun is setting - just beautiful.

Bars and Restaurants

There are lots of restaurants and bars open in the high season and less out of season but always some. Bars, restaurants and food shops are all within a walk of the apartment and are very laid back. Children are always welcome. In the village of Zahara de los Atunes there are more tapas and bars and restaurants plus the local fresh market and a great patisserie! Just mooch through the little streets and take in the very Spanish atmosphere. The village is about a 15 minute walk along the road or 20 on the beach and there is a taxi service if you feel too tired to walk back!. By the way if you like discos, nightclubs and English breakfast you will HATE it here they don't exist!

How to rent

Just contact me and having checked the availability all you need to do is send a deposit that will secure your booking, a month prior to departure the balance will be due and then you will receive your reservation documents. If you would like a car hired for you this is possible and will need to be paid for upon arrival by credit or debit card. We don't put anything on the price of the hire cars.
