Tranquillity, privacy and spectacular views perfectly describe this charming hilltop casita, the origins of which are thought to be as a winter livestock shelter then a wine store for produce from the property itself. Opening on to a leafy terrace, the large timber beamed bedroom has a king size mattress on a sandstone base. Three steps up through an archway is the open plan kitchen/dining/living room which opens on to another two terraces with sun lounges and dining areas. The cottage is insulated and has air-conditioning and heating including an open fire. Park off street under Sa Viña’s shady lemon trees, and meander to the casita. Part of the path is quite steep but the view justifies 3 minute walk. Sa Vina is a perfect retreat for those wanting relaxation or recreation. Help yourself to seasonal fruit including grapes, lemons and figs. Satellite TV, DVD and CD player, Scrabble and books are there for your enjoyment.

Nearest Airport: Palma at 40 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 3.0 Kilometres
Its about 20 minutes walk or a short drive to Soller or the Port where you will find food (including local produce) and retail shops, banks, restaurants and cafes. In Soller’s leafy square, have a meal or a drink whilst watching the passing local life or the tram which crosses the plaza on its trip between the Railway Station and the Port. The port of Soller with safe, sandy beach is 5 minutes drive away where ample free parking can be found.

Notes: Totally unsuitable for the infirm. A small car will make it easier to get in and out of the parking area. We have had clients with babies but it is hard to negotiate stairs with a push chair, The sunny terraces set among grape vines and variety of fruit trees (help yourself!) are completely secluded and peaceful, a perfect setting for dining under the shady pergola.

For us this was an excellent choice. It is exactly as described tranquil, private and spectacular.
The property is clean and well maintained. It is a fair trek up to it and so not suitable for everyone but once there it is so peaceful and private.
It is about a 20 min walk into the centre of Soller and you can pick up the train to Port Soller.
Driving is a bit tricky as the roads are so narrow. I would definitely recommend a small car.
We walked a lot and didn't actually use our car a great deal, if you enjoy walking you could survive without one.
We did not eat out a lot as we enjoyed dining at the Casita looking out over the town at night.
We have visited the area before so we did not feel the need to travel too far but it is an ideal base to see the north of the island.
Absolutely loved it.
