Gloucestershire holiday cottage: Tetbury

I was delighted when I arrived at Street Farm Cottages. It is full of character with stone floors and beams. The best bit is there are plenty of bath/shower rooms for everyone. The only reason I didn't give a 5 rating is that the sofa's could be more comfortable and there is not much cupboard space for food in the kitchen.
The owners were on hand if we needed them, but left us to our own devices. The pub in the village is a good country pub and very friendly. Tetbury is only about 10mins drive away so all in all I would recomend this property to anyone - in fact I would like to return sometime.

This cottage was great the perfect size for a large group of friends, children and small dog. Having full use of the house meant we never felt under each others feet.
The rooms were all very comfy and clean. Having so many bathrooms was very useful given the size of our group.
The comment regarding storage int the kitchen is true, we did struggle finding places to put food, so good to hear about the extra storage being planned.
The owners were really helpful with any of our requests.
The village is lovely with plenty of good walks all around it. Food in the pub was good and the locals were all very friendly.
I would go here again and definitley recommend it to friends.

We chose this cottage as it was big enough to take 10 of us for a pre Christmas get together. the cottage was fantastic as it could accommadate the extended family without feeling crowded. it was extremely clean and well maintained and the owners were extremely helpful. they even provided a box of lego for the children to play with. Also they let us move the sofas around so that we could sit more people comfortably in the lounge. The only little hic up was that the heating had been accidentally left off until our arrival and it took a while for us to defrost!!! In the morning after our first night we were as warm as toast and everything went smoothly after that. I even managed to cook a full Christmas dinner in the kitchen although we were a little short of storage space. (there is a big fridge freezer but no where else to store non perishables) we used our own boxes to store these items. The wide screen telly was a big hit as was the smaller one in the dinning room for people who didn't want to watch 'Strictly Come Dancing'! i would definately like to go back again and would reccommend it to anyone needing a large place to have a large family get together
