Luxury air conditioned self catering villa, furnished to a very high standard on a small private complex, with swimming pool, sea and mountain views and just five minutes from the centre of Paphos. This bright villa has two double bedrooms and accommodates 6 guests comfortably. The lounge dining room has a large sofa (sofabed), armchair, TV and DVD. The well equipped kitchen has oven, hob, washing machine, microwave and fridge. There is ground floor W/C and a modern family bathroom on the first floor. Both bedrooms enjoy private balconies, sea views and large wardrobe storage. Guests can enjoy the private patio terrace and a kidney shaped swimming pool which it shares with a small number of properties on this private complex. Flights are available from most UK airports to Paphos or Larnaca. Chlorakas is conveniently located on the edge of the centre of historial Paphos. It is just a 15 minute transfer from Paphos Airport or an hour from Larnaca airport. The village which is popular with families offers guests a central high street with a good choice of shops, bakeries and a chemist.     The rental price offered is all inclusive. We provide bed linen and towels, air conditioning and heating.
    The property will be cleaned and prepared for guests arrival and departure and if guest are staying for two weeks there will be a mid stay clean and laundry service.
  • Rental bookings are confirmed with a non refundable £100 deposit. Balance is payable 6 weeks prior to departure. Guests are advised to take out their own travel insurance. We ask for a refundable security deposit of £100 which is returned to the guest within 7 days of their visit less any damages.
  • Long term lets are also available, discounted rates are available for extended stays.
    We can assist guests with air port transfers, discounted car hire and food welcome packs and celebration flowers or birthday cakes.

Guest support : The villa is looked after by a property management company who provide emergency support for guests during their stay at the villa.

Chlorakas Village: Chlorakas village has a central high street with a good selection of bakeries, supermarkets, Chemists and take away food restaurants. The village is conveniently within a few minutes of the main tourist area of Paphos for restaurants and evening entertainment and the famous historical harbor sea food restaurants.

Ski and Winter sports: Cyprus is a unique Mediterranean island as it can offer high temperatures for ten months of the year but in the Winter you can ski on Mount Olympos from the beginning of January to the end of March. Mount Olympos is approximately 4 km from Troodos Hill resort and about an hour and a half's drive from Paphos. The Troodos mountains are also very popular with mountain biking and hill walking tours which operate most months of the year.

Golf: There is a choice of three golf courses in the Paphos area, the most famous of which is Aphrodite Hills a 18 hole internationally acclaimed golf course located close to Aphrodites Rock. Guests can also consider Tsada golf club, which is an 18 hole golf course located in Tsada village and Secret Valley golf club which is also located close to Aphrodite Rock between Paphos and Limmassol.

Other Activities: Wine tasting, historical sites, spas, Go Karting track, bird park, aquarium.

The property was adequate for 4 people but I do not think that it would be comfortable for 6. I also think that in the information given about the property that it should be pointed out that a car is essential.

The minor problems that we had were dealt with in a prompt and efficient manner. The cleaning although light was done efficiently. We had no problems finding the property although if arriving at night, a torch is to be recommended to enable you to open the key safe.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: We welcome guest feedback and it is important to us that guests feel looked after and have a lovely holiday in Cyprus.

We do encourage all guests to consider hiring a car as there is so much to see and do in the local area and it means that they would not be dependent on taxis.

The villa has two bedrooms so ideally sleeps four guests but we have had families of five staying in the villa and extra guests can be accommodated on the sofa bed in the lounge if needed.

We hope to be able to look after you again in Cyprus in the future.

We had a great holiday here. The villla was very clean. The only thing was the seating in the villa and the pool. There was not enough seating for the four of us at night. 2 in and 2 sitting out under the umbrella. The pool was very small for quite a big complex but we only used it when we came back from our day out. The villa was very well air conditioned which you needed in mid August. It was only a 5 minute drive to the centre of Chlorakas but a good 20 minute walk down a steep hill,not so good for coming back. The other downside was the water shortages when you tried to put a washing on, the machine would not work as the pressure was so low, but all in all a lovely villa which we would go back to again. I would recmmend this property to anyone coming. There was the Tomb of the Kings along the main road and at the traffic lights turn right and you come into Neo Paphos a World Heritage site with catacombs and the famous harbour. 2 weeks is not long enough if you want to see the sights.
Recommended for:  Age 55+
Owner's Response: Villa Paphamonte is ideal for families or couples looking for a good quality villa on a small and friendly complex within close proximity to the central facilities of Paphos it offers a good base from which to access everything that the local area has to see and do.

The water shortages in Cyprus this year have been well managed by the water authorities and does mean that on alternative days that the water pressure is reduced to preserve water supply to the whole island.
