Lovely holiday rental apartment for self-catering in Torviscas area of Playa de las Americas. With stunning views from the balcony of the pool and sea, facing west so catching all the afternoon sun till sunset. The balcony has table and chairs for you to enjoy this view with easy access from both the living area and bedroom, as both have sliding patio doors. There is clothes drier on balcony. The apartment is well equipped with all you need in the kitchen to self-cater should you wish to do so or you can of course try some of the vast array of restaurants close by. There is TV with satellite viewing and CD player for you to listen to your favourite discs. The twin bedroom has a ceiling fan light for cooling as does the living room. The living room also has 2 settee beds plus one pull out bed so sleeping 5 max. Also provided for your convenience are hair dryer and tongs and iron and ironing board.

There is a ceiling fan / light as in the bedroom for comfort on warmer days / nights, satellite TV so you can keep up with your favourite programmes, dining area wit table and chairs and patio doors leading onto the balcony. The balcony has table and 4 chairs for al fresco dining and to sit enjoying the views and sunsets as the balcony faces west. There are also 2 sun loungers. The internet access can be found in the reception area and is coin operated.

Laguna Park 1 - complex: Depending on your luggage arrival in the terminal you can be in the apartment in less than an hour of landing. It is only a 15 minute transfer from the airport at approximately 20 - 25 Euros by taxi. On the complex there is an air conditioned restaurant where buffet and a la carte meals can be ordered. There is also a bar for evening use, pool bar and games room with consoles. It is on the beach side of the motorway so no long walks up to the 'Alto' area. So car hire is not necessary but if you wish to travel further afield then is readily available.

Further information about the apartment: As these apartments are self-catering, they are serviced ready for your arrival, linen changes provided weekly and serviced on your departure for the next guests. The general day to day tidying is your responsibility. All equipment is provided to make this a home from home including hair dryer, tongs, iron, ironing board, CD player and TV.

Near-by Facilities: Just outside either side of Laguna Park 1 are restaurants and bars. Just a short walk about 100 metres is the San Eugenio shopping complex which houses duty free and tourist shops, barber/hair dresser and a large supermarket with food and drink at excellent prices. Restaurants and bars, some with themes and entertainers abound and many offering big screen TVs for those all important football matches that many don't want to miss. At Puerto Colon you can wonder along the front, view the yachts in the marina or book a trip on one of the whale and dolphin watching trips. Also there are many excursions to Loro Park or Mount Teide. The water park for a days enjoyment is just across the motorway.

we have travelled to tenerife for a number of years and have found the best apt ever to stay in everything you need is supplied to make your holiday a good one really good restaurants at hand we did not use the complex bar but it seems to draw a crowd for the evening entertainment try the sunshine restaurant on the prom at fanabe near the crazy golf 3 courses of good food for 7.95euro. booking apt is made easy by carole and i have booked for next year

The apartment was very clean and tidy.the bedroom and living area both had large fans blowing cool air down which was much needed with temperatures very high.the views from the balcony were good overlooking the pool area.the location was first class in the middle of good bars and restaurants with a number of supermarkets very close.entertainment was good for children during the day and was also good at night in the bar.excellant places to eat yards from the entrance to laguna park.especially the ship restaurant.one place to avoid would be the local chippy over the road as portions were extremely small and appeared to be re heated. we will not hesitate to go back to these apartments in the near future.

Escaped blizzards in Scotland and found ourselves, by evening, watching the sun set over the sea from our perfectly located balcony. Apartment comfortably accommodated 2 adults and 2 teenagers with good cooking and dining facilities. Laguna Park pool area well maintained with very helpful staff at reception. A wonderful shopping complex nearby boasted a large supermarket which proved much cheaper than the smaller local stores. Lots of nice restaurants and bars within walking distance and enjoyed many evening strolls around the marina area. Would certainly recommend this holiday apartment to our friends and family.

We stayed at these apartments for 2 weeks in August 2008. This apartment is well situated and close to all the local amenities. The apartments were very clean and well equipped. The pool area was also very good, the only downside was that if you are not down to the pool by 9am it was impossible to get a sun bed. Take a walk down to Puerto Colon there are lots of Bars and good resturants.
I would definetly go back to this apartment
