Travel/Distances:
Paphos airport is the closest to the villa being a 35 minute drive away. Car hire is essential and we can arrange a local car hire for our guests. Driving in Cyprus is very easy for British holidaymakers as the Cypriots drive on the left. Larnaca airport is a 2 hour drive from Peyia.
Distances - 10 minutes walk (uphill) or 5 minutes drive with ample parking to Peyia village shops, restaurants and tavernas. 5 minutes drive to Coral Bay beaches and tourist area. 20 minutes drive to Paphos town centre and picturesque harbour area. 30 minutes drive to Polis/Latchi area. 1 hour drive to Troodos Mountains.
Within 15/20 minutes drive - historic sites, cycling, swimming, mountain biking, water skiing, horse riding, animal/bird park, water park, fishing, boat trips including cruises to Egypt, shopping, banks and supermarkets.
Additional Information:
Our changeover days are flexible, however, during peak season the property must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure. Check-in is from 3pm unless prior arrangements have been made.
All linens and bath towels are provided with a mid-stay change of linens for two-week bookings. Beach towels are not provided. A welcome pack of basic groceries is provided for your enjoyment.
A cot can be provided for small children, if required. The villa is suitable for children, however, we advise careful supervision around the pool area.
Ski:
The villa is aprox. 1 hour drive from the Troodos Mountains. In Cyprus, snow-skiing can be enjoyed on the slopes of Mount Olympos (1951 metres a.s.l.), from the beginning of January to the end of March. The Cyprus Ski Club possessed four ski lifts:-
a) Two of the lifts are installed on the North Face of Mount Olympos. One is 350 metres long and the other is 500 metres long.
b) the other two ski-lifts - each 150 metres long - are installed at 'Sun Valley' south of Olympos. For further information contact the Cyprus Ski Club.
Golf:
Paphos offers a number of first class golf courses for your enjoyment. Tsada Golf Club is aprox. 25 mins away and is on an elevated position 550m above sea level. It plays to par 72 and measures 6,060m.
The Secret Valley Golf Club is 18km east of Paphos and lies within a scenic valley. It plays to a par of 72 and measures 6,020m.
