Chalet Alpaca is in Plan Peisey, Les Arcs. Chalet Alpaca has four bedrooms all with full en-suite facilities. There is seating around a glass-fronted fireplace in the comfortable open plan lounge and dining area. From the Chalet Alpaca dining area a door opens on to a South and West facing balcony with lovely views towards the Vanoise National Park and Montchavin in La Plagne. Chalet Alpaca is 150m from the ski hire and other shops of Plan Peisey. You can ski back to the Chalet Alpaca via the blue run. There is a walk of about 400m to the Plan Peisey ski school and ski lifts with a choice of a high-speed 6-seater chairlift taking you up to 2100m for skiing in Les Arcs or the Vanoise Express across to la Plagne. For a family ski holiday in les Arcs, the Ski Beat creche is located on the lower floor of chalet Marmotton. Our les Arcs nannies can care for infants from 3 months to 4 years. Children 4-7 years attending the Peisey ski school in the morning can have afternoon care.

Les Arcs, based on the sunny West facing slopes above Bourg St Maurice, has a huge and varied ski area with an excellent snow record and has something to offer all levels of skier. In addition to the cable car link with la Plagne there have been a number of new lifts installed in the Arc 2000 area. Les Arcs is a high altitude resort offering superb skiing from the trees of Peisey and Villaroger to the summit of the Aiguille Rouge with its breath-taking views over the surrounding French, Italian and Swiss Alps. Access to the ski area of Les Arcs is via a high-speed 6-seater chairlift out of Plan Peisey. At the top of this chairlift there is a blue run to Arc 1800 from where the TransArc cable car provides access to the Arc 2000 ski area. When skiing home to Plan Peisey there is a choice of easy green, blue or red pistes. Alternatively there is a black run if those legs are not too tired at the end of the day.
