Tastefully decorated modern self catering one bedroom apartment, with stunning sea views, situated on the island of Ciovo in the heart of the Dalmatia region. Roman ruins, spectacular beaches, old fishing ports & unspoiled islands make the central Dalmatia region an excellent base for a relaxing yet culturally interesting place to visit. The apartment is 150m from the beach & is located in Okrug Gornji, a small resort just 5minutes drive from the world heritage site of Trogir. Trogir is maze of medieval streets with a fantastic selection of bars, shops & restaurants. It is possible to get a water taxi to Trogir from Okrug Gornji. The centre of Okrug Gornji is just a 10minute walk from the apartment where there is an excellent selection of beach bars and restaurants. There are a few restaurants and 2 supermarkets within close proximity of the apartment. The apartment is situated in a quiet area off the road with its own private parking space. Split airport is only a 15 minute transfer.

Nearest Airport: Split International at 5 Kilometres
Nearest Ferry: Trogir at 3 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Split at 35 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 100.0 Metres

The apartment is located in Okrug Gornji arguably the best beach destination in the area. Brilliant location if you want the best of both worlds - beach by day and old town culture and nightlife of Trogir in the evening. Okrug beach is the most popular on the Trogir Riviera. There are watersports, it is also possible to arrange boat trips to other islands. A short water taxi takes you to the beautiful Trogir. The city of Split is just a half hour drive . A visit to the famous Diocietian's palace is a must. There are plenty of shops, restaurants & bars in Split. It is possible to take a ferry from Split to the neighbouring islands of Brac & Hvar. Krka National Park is a stunning national park with stunning waterfalls, it is just a 1 hour drive north of Ciovo (towards Sibenik). The coastal road makes a very pleasant journey, it is possible to stop at some lovely coastal towns on the way. The beautiful coastal town of Brela is just a 1 drive south of Ciovo.

This modern, well appointed appartment proved an excellent choice for us. It was spotlessly clean and was all it was claimed to be. We were greeted at the airport by the owners local contact and taken straight there. Situated a 10 minute walk away from the main beach at Okrug it was very quiet both mornings and evenings. My wife and I love walking so the steep roads in this area were not a problem although they could be for some. The attractions of Trogir, Split and Krka were all reached by public transport - water taxi and bus - which were both cheap and reliable. Highly recommended.
