Caleta de Fuste (El Castillo) holiday apartment: Caleta de Fuste

We have just returned from this wonderfully placed apartment in Caleta de Fuste with our daughters (8 and 18). The property is excellently located along a street with bars, restaurants and shops, but no noise from them could be heard at all during the evenings. The airport arranged taxi service was fantastic and even on the short drive to the apartment, were given lots of nice places to visit etc. by the driver. The apartment was clean, tidy and was more fully equipped than most apartments I have been to before. I arranged a welcome back with the owner which, when you arrive late, was good to have waiting for you. The balcony was fantastically situated right overlooking the swimming pool with sunbeds around and was cleaned regularly by the complex staff. The onsite bar does a very reasonable priced breakfast and they had singers/entertainment on 2 or 3 evenings. You could either sit at the bar itself, but it was just as nice sitting on the balcony listening to it too. The owner had left lots of leaflets for places to go and see and the Reception were very helpful in booking one trip for us - The Oasis Zoo - well worth a visit! The apartment was cleaned after one week with new towels and bedding. The surrounding restaurants served excellent food - would definitely recommend the Greek restaurant with a fantastic waiter and excellent service! The beach is only a short walking distance and also had watersports available there too. Without a doubt I would recommend this apartment and will definitely be going back there again next year!
