Tara' Holiday Villa The holiday home is a 3 bedroom house with an adjoining one bedroom apartment with its own private swimming pool. It is situated in a small hamlet located outside the village of Cuxac-d'Aude, Aude (3km) and also located between the small towns of Capestang (9km) and Coursan (4km) Cuxac-d’Aude. The nearby historic town of Narbonne is located 13 km away. The main house sits on 400m2 land with a mature and pleasant garden. It contains 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom. It is a 20 minute drive from a number of beaches.

The main house sits on 4000m2 land with a mature and manicured pleasant garden. It contains 2 double bedrooms and 1 master bedroom. Newly modernised bathroom with power shower. Kitchen/dining area with open fireplace and 4 double doors opening onto terrace with a southern aspect. The living room of the main house contains a plasma TV, video, DVD, CD player and a DVD library. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker/oven, microwave,fridge/freezer and other utilitie -blenders etc. Laundry facilities, drying and ironing are available in a separate area to the back of the house. There is a large outside terrace with a desigher built BBQ and garden furniture so you can enjoy meals in the open air, either in the shade or in the sun whichever you fancy. The adjoining apartment has its own newly fitted kitchen with cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer. The apartment has its own living area with TV/DVD. Upstairs is a spacious bedroom with a balcony which opens onto the back garden.

The villa is located in the heart of the vineyards, with views of the rolling tranquilly plains of the River Aude that stretch north to the Mountains Noire and south to the Pyrenees. This is an area steeped in history and blessed with an almost perfect climate. The area enjoys over 300 days of sunshine annually, the location benefits from long hot summers and brief but mild winters. The old villages of Cuxac d'Aude, Coursan and Capestrang (2km, 4 km and 9km) are the typically arch rival southern French affairs, with cafés, supermarkets, banks and pharmacies, and of course the local cave cooperatives. Vineyards, ancient monasteries and medieval castles punctuate the landscape whilst the golden beaches of the Mediterranean are just a 15-minute drive away. To the west is Cathar country – one of the most inspiring and dramatic landscapes in Europe. The historic city of Carcassonne (40 minutes) and the beautiful Canal du Midi (10mins) and Canal du Robin (5 mins) are all a shord drive away
