This stylishly furnished 2 bed house with fully equipped, modern kitchen & bathroom is perfect for your self catering summer holiday, golfing trip or long term stay. The bright, airy bedrooms can be converted into twins (children/golf parties) or doubles according to your needs. Rooms have AC & heating for winter. The large sun terrace has sun loungers, dining area & bar-b-cue & outdoor shower. The comfortable lounge has a stereo, TV and DVD player to keep the kids amused. The house with use of communal pool, is situated next to a village offering excellent amenities, including banks, mini-mart, post office, newsagent & a shop specialising in English food. There are a handful of bars & good quality restaurant 2 mins walk away & a host of cafe/bars just 15 mins drive away on the coast. The beautiful beaches of the MarMenor are 15 mins drive away & several excellent golf courses are even closer. So for a fabulous self catering summer/winter holiday or golf trip, book now.

The house in Sucina, Murcia is a 20 minute drive from Murcia/San Javier airport and 45 minutes from Alicante airport. Golf courses such as Roda, Peralja Polaris World are on the doorstep and the beautiful beach resorts of Los Alcazares, Los Narejos, Lo Pagan and La Manga on the Mar Menor are all close by, making this the ideal base for your summer holiday. If you enjoy exploring historic cities, Murcia and Cartagena are a short drive away and offer terrific shopping, dining and sightseeing. The local roads are well maintained and there is a regular bus service from the village to the coast. If shopping is your kind of fun then then there is a different market to visit every day, selling everything from fresh fruit & veg to fabulous linens, shoes, bags & jewellery. The famous mud of the Mar Menor is said to help cure aches & pains. For the foodies amongst you, there are excellent restaurants nearby serving local food and many more on the Mar Menor offering International cuisine.

The property is superb, it has a great layout, is furnished to a high/thoughtful standard, well maintained and very clean.

We took a supply of DVDs and I would recommend this to others.

The local village has good basic shops and a particularly good bakery for breakfast supplies also a few nice places to eat in the evening (from 8 pm onwards) - try the squid at El Meson Del Vino, the bodega.

The drive to the coast took 15/20 mins and is worth a visit or two.

Overall a great place to unwind and relax and do as much or as little as you like.

Relaxing holiday in Murcia, August 08

Property was very clean and new. Good meet and greet service from Mel and Jayne, good source of local information and very helpful. Everything needed was in the house including change of bedding and towels. Could do with vacuum cleaner and TV package, only got Sky/BBC news and Spanish channels. Very hot whilst there, needed the air conditioning to enable sleep. Definitely need a car, can walk to village but limited bars and restaurants, some not open in August. Good sightseeing if prepared to travel. Mar Menor beaches great for lazing in the sun and lying in bath-warm water. Nearby swimming pool was clean and large enough for proper swimming. Would recommend this area and property to friends seeking a quiet break. Coni.

Relaxing Holiday

We had a lovely holiday in sucina, the house was very clean and furnished lovely, not your usual furniture packs here, it was all very stylish and comfortable. It's situated in a very quiet area, sucina is a typical spanish village but there is a supermarket that sells english products if you want them. A car is a must if you want to get to the beaches and explore the area. There are a few bars and restaurants within walking distance. The rooftop sundeck is great for getting your tan. Mel & Jayne who look after the house are a lovely couple and very helpful. We loved it so much we have booked to go back in September.
