Newly restored apartment for 2-6 persons with swimming pool on a small vineyard near Terricciola in Chianti. The apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, but can also be rented with one bedroom and one bathroom at a lower price. Self-catering with well-equipped kitchen. Dining table and sofa beds. Air conditioning. Washing machine free of charge. Spacious, private terrace of 32 square meters. Large garden. Child friendly environment. The swimming pool (6x12 meters) is shared with three other small apartments on the same property. Peaceful surroundings and a panoramic view of the famous rolling green hills of Tuscany. Within walking distance to a small village and only 3 km to the town Terricciola. A perfect location in the heart of Tuscany. Ideal for trips to the famous cities and within reachable distance to the beaches by the Mediterranean. Flexible rental period. You are welcome any day of the week, not only Saturday

Within walking distance (800 meters) you find a small village with a pizzeria and a small grocery shop. Only 3 km to the town Terricciola with more shops and restaurants. There is also a very good restaurant 2,5 km from our farm: San Pietro. If you would like we can bring you there before dinner and pick you up again after, for free. Terricciola is famous for the good wine and its many festivals. There are several annual festivals through the year: the Chocolate Festival in April, the Strawberry Festival in May and The Wine Festival in September. Centrally located in Tuscany, close to all the famous cities (Volterra 30 km, Pisa 35 km, San Gimignano 40 km, Lucca 65 km, Florence 70 km, Siena 80 km) and within reachable distance to the beaches by the Mediterranean (40 km).

  • The weekly price examples are for four persons. Extra beds (sofa beds) for the fifth or sixth person cost extra. Children under 10 years of age get 50% discount in extra beds. Cots available. It is also possible to rent the apartment with one bedroom and one bathroom (sleeps up to four) at a lower price. If you stay more than a week we will give you 10% discount from the 8th day.
  • Change of linen/towels once a week is included in the rental price. The use of electricity, gas for the kitchen, water and the final cleaning of the apartment are included. We will provide you with detailed road descriptions in English. The use of washing machine, parking space behind gates, satellite-TV and barbecue are also included. The use of air conditioning costs 12 euros per day (if used).

The wines: You will get to taste the red and white wines, as well as the excellent Vino Santo, produced on the farm. The wines are also available in restaurants throughout Tuscany. In 2008 the farm was licensed to produce the famous Chianti DOCG red wine!

Bicicles: In 2009 we also rent out bicicles to our guests.

Lovely views.
Friendly and helpful people.
Ideal base for Pisa / Florence / Siena.
Clean property.
Lovely pool area.
Only minor complaint is that the beds were slightly uncomfortable.
Excellent wine!

Rural retreat

I stayed here with my husband and 2 teenage daughters. It was in the most beautiful setting with vineyards all around and very rural.
The appartment was beautiful, restored to a high standard. and the owners made us feel very welcome.
The facilities were good, but there was no oven as described on the details. The bathrooms were well equipped, but the bed was a bit uncomfortable and very creaky. It was very clean.
There was a large balcony where we could sit and enjoy the views. There was lots to do in the area. The pool was good and we often had it to ourselves.

Beautifully located with lovely pool

The apartments are very well located to visit local attractions such as Pisa, Volterra or San Gimignano.
Our apartment was well equipped but do try to rent the ones with air con if visiting in summer as ours had no air con and was VERY hot at night. Also, mosquitoes can be a problem if you don't take precautions but you are staying on a working farm. The apartment was spotless when we arrived with a welcoming bottle of the farmers wine on the table. Pool is fabulous with wonderful views and the owners really leave you to it with no interruption.
Try to use the small local restaurants in the nearby villages, they are very good value.
I would recommend this for families with young children, you will definitely need a car.
