Charming, cosy country lodge, near Valencia city & golf. 20% WINTER DISCOUNT!

This lodge is not a typical Spanish villa! Set in a pine forest among vines and orange groves, the lodge is charming and tranquil. Ideal for a lazy holiday or city break as the lovely, vibrant city of Valencia within easy reach. Situated next to El Bosque Golf and within a 20-25 min drive of the city, the lodge is in a great location for sightseeing, F1 and the moto GP. There are two commuter stations nearby- and the bus into the city runs from the bottom of the country lane. Inside, the lodge is a lovely romantic hideaway. It is also ideal for families as it sleeps 6 and is safe for small children. It has a fully equipped kitchen and BBQ. Also, for lovers of Spanish festivals, it is a real gem! The small towns nearby have bull-runs, wine festivals- and the famous TOMATINA (tomato throwing festival). The lodge is warm in winter- it has heating- and a haven in summer with its large pool and sunbeds. Curl up with a book from the bookcases or settle down to our selection of DVD´s

The lodge is located off exit 337 on the A3 Madrid-Valencia motorway and is therefore ideally situated for a speedy drive to the beaches and the grand city centre (25 mins). It is next to the famous El Bosque Golf course and a short drive from the Bunol tomato festival and Chiva bull-runs. The oldest wine growing region in Spain- Requena- is 35 mins drive away and is a great day out for wine buffs. The National Park of El Saler is 30 mins away with its lovely pine forests and unspoilt beaches. Love paella? Then Albufuera with its lagoons and paella villages is a must. Don´t forget to take a trip on a Gondela. How about motor racing? The super bike circuit is in nearby Cheste and hosts numerous motor acing events (cars & bikes) including the Moto GP finals. Don´t forget formula 1 coming to Valencia- Monaco style- in August 2008!

What a brilliant place to stay!

We have never rented privately before but we were delighted with our choice to rent this property as my girlfriend and I, had a fantastic time.

The lodge is clean, cosy and extremely spacious (far too big for us). We particularly enjoyed the pool/sunbathing area which was a good location to benefit from the hot weather.

George and Gina (the owners) were very friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived and their advice about valencia was priceless, especially where to eat, drink and get the best deals!!!

A car is also essential but we found this an important part of the overall experience. The location is quiet (which we wanted) but surrounded by beautiful little towns which gave you a true flavour of valencia and valencia city and beach were easily accessible and there is loads to do.

We have recommended this lodge to our friends and family and we will definitely look to go back there in the next few years!

We are glad to hear Adam had such a lovely time.Late September/ early October is a delightful time to be here.The grape harvest is coming in and the countryside is bathed in a golden light. During the second week in October there are bull runs in nearby Cheste and the Knights parade in Valencia city. A great time to be here!
