The house and pool are situated on the top piazza in the heart of the town and are a part of the main 17th century Palace where dominates the old bell tower in a private and exclusive area.The House is situated at 300m heigh hill top town providing a bird-eye view both on the Sibilini mountains on the Adriatic Sea coast. and the fruit growing valley below.The sea is just 12km within reach (20min with car max).Being Antique collectors we have strived ,with the help of the enthusiastic local artisans which Italy is renown for to maintain the authentic spirit of renewal without excluding the modern comforts. .The location is furnished with authentic 17th 18th century Italian furniture to content the real lovers of antiques.Wine alone could provide an excellent motive for touring in the Marche and wine making in this area has been having its own little renaissance over the last ten years or so, with a move away from quantity towards quality.

  • The interiors are divided in three floors all of which posses numerous windows with panoramic views. The kitchen is very cool during the summer a real refuge from the heat and is just next to the saloon that has comfortable sofas and satellite television. The kitchen is very well equiped and the grocery is just down the road. The children are safe to play outdoors in the piazza as there are no cars or dangers surrounding the house. The good thing about this location is that as you are in the centre of town you don't need the car and you will find your kids soon playing with other kids and learning the language at the same time.The people are very friendly and proud to have visitors and have maintained the old traditional well mannered hospitality making it a delightful experience.

The Region

The provincial capital of Ascoli Piceno lies at the southern end of Le Marche. This beguiling old town is well worth a visit.. Its marble-paved main square is one of the most beautiful in Italy. The alluring hilltown of Fermo is the capital of the newly-created province of Fermo which PETRITOLI is part of and boasts a fine historic centre.

The Sea

Le Marche can boast one of the highest number of Blue Flag beaches of any region in Italy. The prestigious Blue Flagis awarded by the Foundation for Environmental Education to environmentally well-kept beaches across Europe. The important 'eco-label' is given to sites that meet strict criteria including water quality, environmental management, safety and other services. Porto San Giorgio the seaside resort town was once the ancient port for the inland city of Fermo is now a pleasant seaside resort with a small working port it owes some of its charm to a few fine examples of the Liberty Style architecture that was much in vogue in the smarter seaside resorts across Italy at the turn of the 19thC.

The restaurants

But the town's main attractions are its fish and its attractive beaches. There are plenty of moderately priced restaurants serving brodetto (the Marche fish stew) to choose from. There are also eating events or Sagre: Pretty well every town and village throughout the Marche has some food or wine event during the summer months.
