Spacious self-catering house five minutes walk from the village centre

A recently constructed detached house in traditional French style with enclosed gardens and an orchard leading to the River Noireau.

Ground Floor: Large lounge with open fire, TV, satellite, DVD player, double sofa bed; large dining/sitting room with hi-fi; fitted kitchen with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave; double bedroom; WC.

First Floor: One double bedroom, two twin bedrooms. All four bedrooms have full en-suite facilities. Central heating. Cot and high chair.

Garden furniture, barbecue and boules pitch. Parking for several cars. Electricity included.

In the heart of the Calvados area in the 'Suisse Normande', with its beautiful rivers and countryside, the house is in a rural setting but only a five minute walk from the centre of Pont d'Ouilly. An hours drive from the ferry at Ouistreham (Caen), Bayeux, D-Day beaches. Activities include fishing, walking, canoe/kayak, horse riding, golf. Excellent restaurant

Notes: The property can be accessed in a wheelchair on the ground floor only, but there is a bedroom on the ground floor with an en-suite bathroom. There is a step up from the tiled area in front of the house actually into the house itself. Inside the house on the ground floor there are no steps. There are four three seater settees in the lounge of which one is a sofa bed. Satellite television provides the UK channels which do not require the payment of a subscription. They include all the BBC channels, ITV 1,2 and 3, Channel 4 and Channel 5 as at 1 June 2010. Changes may occur in availability. In addition, there is digital French television.
