Casa Montgo is a well maintained & equipped villa located on the lower slopes of the Montgo mountain in Denia. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & its own attractive garden and private 8m by 4m pool. Unusually for Spain, the house, garden & drive are all on one level, with no awkward steps up to the house. It is set within a very quite residential area with attractive mountain and sea views, just a few minutes drive to the beach & the town. A car is essential. The villa is arranged all on one floor with an open planned light, bright and airy sitting room, dining room and kitchen. It is well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning and mosquito nets on the windows. For winter use, there is double glazing and central heating. The comfortable sitting room has satellite digital TV (English & Spanish channels), DVD and video player. There is one double bedroom, a twin bedroom & a second twin bedroom with its own en-suite shower room. There is also a separate bathroom.

Denia is almost halfway between Alicante and Valencia on the norther Costa Blanca. A bustling ferry port and holiday resort, it has managed to retain its Spanish culture and traditions. There are a variety of beaches (sandy or quiet rocky coves) extending many miles up and down the coast. Denia has a fashionable main street with a cafe society and many varied restaurants. There are fiestas throughout the year, with markets, concerts and processions, centred around the fascinating and historic castle. However, it is possible to find calm places in the quaint Medieval back streets. For those enjoying an active holiday, tennis, golf, horse rinding, scuba diving and boat trips are all nearby. From the house, there are walks on the Montgo, affording spectacular views of Denia and the surrounding area.

  • A 50% deposit is required at time of booking. The balance will be requested six weeks before booking commences. A breakages deposit of £100 may also be collected. All bed linen and towels are included (although please bring your own beach towels or towels for use by the pool).

  • Water is heated by a newly installed gas boiler, so it is hot and plentiful. The main, newly refurbished bathroom is accessed off the hall way, so you do not disturb the occupants in the other bedrooms. It has a large shower with corner entry. There is an en-suite shower room and lavatory off one of the twin bedrooms, making this an ideal choice for either two families or three generations sharing the villa. By the pool is an outdoor shower allowing you to wash off the salt after a day at the beach or to cool off outside.

Notes: There is one air conditioning unit to serve the open plan kitchen, dining & sitting room with a unit in the hall for the bedrooms. There are built in mosquito nets on all the bedroom windows, allowing the windows to be open at night time. Black out blinds are on all windows. Entertainment: The satellite television has limited English channels. Outside, there is a table tennis table & outdoor chess board. Garden: A particular feature of the villa with a naya and gazebo that can both accommodate at least 8 for outside entertaining. The large and attractive barbeque is next to the pool. Numerous flowering plants providing year round colour & privacy with areas to provide sun and shade. The pool is fenced & gated for added child safety (although children must be supervised at all times) & there is off road parking, under cover. Denia is an extremely interesting town in the northern Costa Blanca. It is also near the towns of Javea, Oliva and Pego. Valencia is also easily accessible by car or coach and makes a tremendous day out for sightseeing. The town of Alicante can also be reached by the railway that starts in Denia and winds its way around the coast, stopping at all the little villages en-route. This scenic train can also take you to Terra Mitica in Benidorm, one of Spain's best theme parks. Four golf courses are within an easy drive and the ski slopes are just 2 hours away.

Very fine place with wonderfull view on the top of the mountin.
Clean and well maintainded - fantastic especially for those inclined to modest style.
Fantastic place for families with children.
Lots of attractions.
