This 3-bedroom luxury villa, located just 1km to Unawatuna beach and 4km to Galle town can be rented as self-catering or catered depending on your style of holiday. Kurullaah staff are on hand to cater to your every whim so that you can lounge by the private pool, wander around the 1.5 acre garden or simple relax in the comforts of the huge sitting room. This villa is straight out of a coffee table book on luxury villas in Sri Lanka. Suitable for friends, couples or families, this villa will delight the most discerning of guests. The three bedrooms, complete with 4-poster teak beds, all come ensuite and facing to the gardens. Polished stone sink tops, antique stone fonts and showers with views to the sky are just some of the exceptional features in this house. Dining for 10 is provided inside while additional alfresco dining is available on both terraces overlooking the gardens. Our chef can drum up local delicacies selected off our menu or by request.

Located just 4km south-east of Galle, Unawatuna provides access to all that this region has to offer including: the famous 300 yr-old UNESCO world heritage site of Galle Fort, not forgetting the atmospheric Galle town; boat trips to nearby islands; yoga and Ayurrvedic massage centres; the turtle reserve centre; surfing; snorkeling; paragliding; Koggala Lake; Kathaluwa Temple; and lots more. All of these attaractions are within easy reach of Unawatuna and Galle by tuk-tuk or car. Of course, we can help with all your transportation needs.     'Your villa is absolutely stunning, the photos on the website do not do it justice, it is really heaven, we have fallen in love with the place. The main lounge and bedrooms made us feel like we were staying at a 5-star hotel. The main bathroom shower allows bathers to shower under the stars in privacy as half of the shower is located in an outdoor enclosure with bench seating. It doesn't get much better than this! All towels are provided for the bathroom and the swimming pool. Our staff will do any laundry for you at minimal cost so that all you have to do is relax and enjoy.

We found the villa extreamly nice, Its in a pefect location with lots of wildlife. The staff where excellent. The Sri Lankan people where very friendly. We hope to return in the future as this was our best holiday we have ever had.

My husband and I have stayed at Kurulla house on our own and with friends. No matter how many in our party Chandana is always ready and smiling, the villa in impeccable condition and the grounds soothing. We live in Colombo and it is an absolute delight to leave the big sooty city and arrive at the gates of Kurulla. As soon as it swings open we all take a deep breath and know we are home again. A stunning holiday, close to everything with anything you need at your fingertips. As I write this I think I should keep quiet as I would love to have it all to myself...

A fantastic property, spacious, clean and furnished with authentic antiques. The four poster beds were beautifully made with soft, cotton sheets and each day, fresh flowers from the garden were arranged on the sheets. The living area was large and had lots of space for the entire family to lounge about in. There was a computer, television and Hi-Fi stereo but we rarely found the need to use them. There were several places you could dine either inside or al fresco. The staff were very welcoming, extremely friendly and throughout the holiday they always ready to help but never obtrusive. The food was amazing. The best we tasted in Sri Lanka. The fresh fish (from the local market) were delicious. It was such a luxury to be able to dine in at your own villa but feel like you were going out for dinner. We had the most amazing week. It was very relaxing and you could easily have spent the whole time at the villa. We did venture out to Unawatuna, Galle Fort, Koggala Lake and to a Turtle Hatchery. They were all easily accessible by Tuk-Tuk or taxi. We have recommended this villa to our friends and relatives.
