In a quiet cul-de-sac in an excellent location, 5 minutes walk to supermarket, local restaurants and village centre. 15-minute walk from both cable cars and 20 minutes from Glacier 3000. Newly renovated, the luxurious Chalet has all modern facilities including new dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, DVD/CD player with surround sound. A selection of movies, music and games are available. Garage for one car, also serves as a location for a table tennis table, skis and ski boot room. Chalet has a pretty garden with mountain stream and stunning views. Ideal for families, small groups or romantic escape. Close to Gstaad and Chateau D’Oex regions and 25 minutes from lake Geneva. The chalet is primarily our home and as such we have spent time and effort in renovating it to offer the highest standards of comfort and style. You will find all the beds are generous in size of a very high quality and extremely comfortable, all sheets are 100% cotton and duvets are made of lightweight duck down. The dishwasher, washing machine dryer, DVD/CD player are all new and there is a selection of movies, music and games which we are happy for you to use during your stay.

CUSTOMER REVIEW: We had a truly lovely stay at your chalet. All that is needed for a comfortable stay by a couple or family is included. The décor/furnishings, inventories, and location of the chalet are superior to most of what is available in Diablerets. We feel lucky to have found your chalet as we love Diablerets for its low-key, quiet, family-oriented atmosphere BUT considered buying our own chalet as we were never quite satisfied with the accommodations. Chalet Les Nives is fantastic and well-equipped. It offers the best of both worlds-- convenience (walking distance of village center and two main ski lifts) and peace and tranquility (it is located at the end of a very small road). We had a wonderful time and hope to return often as we love Les Diablerets. Les Diablerets leaves you feeling like you really got away from it all....... yet, it has more to do than just ski (make sure you check out the Glacier). It is also only a short drive to the Swiss Riviera (Vevey/Montreux) and the beautiful Lac Leman!

Chalet Les Nives

We have just returned from our second summer stay at the Chalet Les Nives and have just booked for next summer as well. It is a delightful place to stay, located in the heart of a beautiful area of Switzerland, with good road links to most of the Country, France and Italy. It also has a really good train service down to Aigle and Lake Geneva beyond, and buses to all local resorts and towns.

The Chalet is really comfortable, with great facilities, and is close enough to comfortably walk to all the restuarants and shops in the village. It would be ideal for a sking holiday as well.

We have had 6 people staying on each visit and we have all had plenty of space of relax and find some private space. More than 6 is also fine but you would need to be family or good friends.

The Chalet makes a great base for a walking holiday with numerous routes starting in the village and linking to nearby Gstaad and Villars. Some amazing views.

One special tip, Villars has an amazing Golf Course at about 2000m, with a Club House that has wonderful views and serves great food all year round. Definately worth a long afternoon!

My wife and I find the Chalet it the perfect place to wind down and chill out with friends after an active day of hiking or sightseeing. Watching a DVD from the growing library of classic films (bring one and leave it for the next guests!) or just chatting over a prolonged dinner makes the end of a perfect day.

It really is a wonderful home from home!

So Good I Went There Twice

I have stayed in the chalet twice; during the autum while on a climbing and hiking holiday and in early spring with my familly and another familly for a skiing holiday. On both occaisions the property and location where perfect.

Autumn. The surrounding mountains are perfect for hiking and via ferretting with some spectatular views and areas of outstanding natural beauty.

Sking: we arrived on the penultimate day of the ski season in Les Diablerets (so check before you arrive to make sure what lifts are open) however this did mean that we were the only party on the mountains for a whole day. Quite an experience having ones own private mountain, so if you crave privacy on the mountain I would recomend you engineer your holiday to coincide with the last day of the season just for the experience. We still found plenty of skiing up on the Glacier and in nerby Gstad and Villeirs.

The chalet is fabulous and is very tastefully decorated and furnished very homely and comfortable and packed full of everthing you need if you fancy a bit of self catering. The accomodation is perfect for two families of 4.

The locals are very friendly and accomodating and the food in all restaurants is great.

Les Diableret is a small village but it does have everything you need for a short stay. Hire shops and guides are easy to locate if you do not want to use the recomended ones from the website.

Great New Years Break

We spent New Years at Chalet Les Nives and had a fantastic time. There were 8 adults in our party and there was plenty of space for all of us and our skiing equipment.
The chalet was immaculately clean, and well equipped, and was very cosy and snug, lovely to come home to after a hard day on the slopes.
There was a great selection of films and music for a night in or for an evening out the local restaurants and bars are a short walk down the hill.
The chalet is conveniently located for the ski lift and ski bus, the local train station is aprox 12minutes walk away.

We would highly recommend. Fantastic Holiday.
