In the heart of Paris, only steps from the Luxemburg Gardens, your loft is situated in a building which dates back to the end of the XIXth Century that is made up of artists studios. Gauguin and Modigliani lived and painted in this very building. A haven of peace, this very romantic place is set in one of the most stunning areas of Paris, the “6th”,” l'Atelier” brings together a spirited place imbued with history and a charming, magnificent appartment that is close to all amenities: spirited bistros, fine food shops, boutiques...On the first floor a fully equipped kitchen open to the sitting and dining area. Upstairs, a lovely bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a brand new and stylish shower, sink and WC. L'Atelier is completely equipped: Clothes washer-dryer, dishwasher, microwave... Bed linens and towels are provided. The TV provides a large choice of international channels . A complete selection of Cd's, DVDs, guidebooks as well as a wifi connection are also provided.

Centrally located getaway in Paris

Our family of 3 just spent 4 nights in this wonderful studio apartment. The apartment is located on a quiet street off the main boulevard. The entry into the courtyard is quaint and we felt very Parisian. With the metro stop only a block away, it's very conveniently located to all the sites.

The grocery store is very near, so stopping to pick up dinner and breakfast was very easy after a long day of sightseeing. We'd then return to our quiet oasis in the middle of this great city.

The apartment itself was stocked with everything one could need and felt like home.

Joelle was very easy to work with...thank you for sharing your Paris with us!

Perfect for privacy!

We really enjoyed our stay at L'Atelier. It was the perfect location to see the sights. I recommend visiting Tour Montparnasse (only a few streets away) around 11pm to see the view of the Eiffel Tower sparkling! Having a metro station close by was also ideal. We felt at home in the apartment so much that it made going and seeing the sights difficult at times. And it was always nice to come back to after a long day of walking. There are a couple of little grocery stores nearby that we visited daily! Thanks Joelle for the wonderful home away from home.

Romantic Studio

This studio in Montparasse is reasonably priced, 1 short block to the Metro Station Vavin, maintains its original charm while offering modern amenities and a great shower!

The romance of the location and its former inhabitants (many great painters) make for a great adventure. You are close to everything, but very private in your studio.

If you have a car, you can negotiate a reduced parking rate with in and out privileges, and you can easily walk to wonderful street markets, grocers and shopping.

The sleeping loft and bathrooms upstairs are terrific, the bed is very comfortable.

The 2 story walk-up is a very charming and unchanged historical portion of the experience, but no not bring extremely heavy or awkward luggage, as you will regret it!

The owners, Joelle and her husband are wonderful, and I would not hesitate to return or to recommend this property to anyone with a sense of history, romance and fun.

Peaceful Paris Hideaway

A lofty light-filled space with an artist's soul. The apartment was bright, peaceful, very clean and nicely appointed -- filled with sunshine and birdsong each morning. Everything is just steps away: the metro, cafes and creperies. It was my wife's and my first time in Paris, and this place helped make it perfect.

The two tall flights of stairs aren't designed for heavy luggage and the hallway could be best described as somewhat shabby, but it helps you picture the famous painters who climbed those steps. It's an ideal place for two people; four would be something of a squeeze, since the shower and bath are upstairs in the loft, right by the bed (which was really comfortable).

Myself and my partner used this apartment for a short break in March this year. It is everything that it promises to be and the assistance with directions was really helpful. Lovely place in an excellent location.
