In a medieval castle with a delightful view built like fortress between 1400-1500 and is set up just out at the small medieval hamlet of Lanciole in the chestnut clad mountains between a natural park above the pretty market town of Pescia (20 mins), otherwise known as “the City of Flowers”, in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, tranquil but not isolated, the whole area being totally unspoiled: The hilltop villages in front Lanciole, Crespole, Calamecca and Serra Pistoiese were dominium of Ghibellines during medioage, and the Manor castle for his strategic and dominant position had funcion of guard to defend the Florence dominium and the Lucca's dominium, in this area known as the Svizzera Pesciatina (Switzerland above Pescia) for its outstanding natural beauty, perfect for nature lovers, beautiful walking and trekking. Restored with care of any small details, offer a romantic setting and holidays for family, private pool and two external hot tubs, BBQ, patio and big terrace.

The Manor is a beautiful, small medieval castle built between 1400's and 1500's. It is like a fortress of guard for the the villages in the area. It was built of mellow stone and was a Ghibelline's manor. It is set in a wonderful and dominant position, and is only 700 metres from the village of Lanciole. The history tell us that the Ghibellines, who sided with the holy roman Emperor, fought against the Guelphs who supported the Pope over the right to rule the northern part of Italy. The Castle itself is perfectly restored, conserving the old characteristics but with all the comfort, so you will feel really 'at home'. The area makes a good base for touring being within easy driving distance of many famous places including Lucca, Pisa and Florence.

The manor is an ideal place where you can relaxing, enjoy the nature being at easy distance from the main cities of arts in Tuscany: Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Pistoia.... It's in a natural park where still you can meet deers, foxes and the creek close to the house create a relaxing surrounding in this peaceful corner of Tuscan countryside. Shopping centre and big supermarkets (5 available) at 13 km from the house. Small foodstuff shop at less than two km from the house open everyday from 8 to 8. Still you can have the fresh bread at your door, 4 times a week or taste the pizza just cooked, when the baker will come back to the house to sell his specialities. Pinocchio's park for children at 20 km from the house, vineyard and farm where you can buy olive oil and local wine at 16 km, horse back riding 10 minutes by car, montecatini golf club at 20 km, many typical restaurants in the area.
