Monte Pedruso Pool Apt, Sea view apartment, spacious, well equipped and bright with Sea View dining balcony and pretty gardens with Swimming Pool in the charming village of Monte Pedrosu (three restaurants, mini market and bar) close to Cala Girgolu beach and a 10 minutes drive from San Teodoro, with it's wide selection of restaurants and famous wide sand beaches. The well equipped and modern apartments have either one or two good bedrooms, shower room, kitchen area and spacious living room some with a balcony which hasvefantastic sea views past the swimming pool towards the Island of Tavola, the apartment's are a 20 minutes drive from Olbia Airport where one can get Easyjet flights from Gatwick and Bristol , Ryanair from Birmingham and a 60 minutes drive from Alghero where there are Ryanair flights Stansted, East Midlands, Liverpool and many others.

This ground floor apartment has a private entrance with a small balcony where a door leads into the kitchen area, well equipped with a full oven and fridge/freezer fitted amongst the tidy run of cupboards. The bright and modern living area is nicely furnished with table and chairs and a sofa bed/folding bed, which could be useful should you wish to take a 5th person. French doors lead from the living room onto the lovely covered dining balcony, with views over the gardens towards the sea and the Isola Tavola beyond. The twin bedroom has windows looking over the gardens and the double bedroom has French doors which open to the private rear balcony, an ideal spot to read your favourite book in enjoying the views and peace.

Cala Girolu: Picture postcard arc of white sand edging a turquoise sea is just 1 ½ Kms from our Monte Pedrosu Apt and when we were there in September, was rather quaintly serviced by a small boat which stopped by intermittently, serving gelato (ice cream), cold drinks and coffees from its deck and undoubtedly calling in it the variety of pretty coves along the coastline.

This, almost reclusive apartment: is appealingly set around an attractive free form pool in pretty cloistered gardens complete with barbecue and pizza oven hidden away amongst its foliage and quietly tended by the owners who live in a ground floor apartment and speak no English. However, armed with a phrase book and sense of humour, we are sure you will soon be on more than nodding acquaintance, as they are looking forward to welcoming their guests in typically unobtrusive Sardinian way. The apartment is modern and bright with a double and twin bedroom, a smart shower room and open plan, well equipped kitchen/living area. The covered balcony provides a popular extension to the living area and has garden views., with the sea visible through the lush gardens.

The village of Monte Pedrosu is just 600m away: within a 15mins stroll and conveniently offers a choice of two trattorias, as well as a café, a butcher and a small supermarket but if you like to be spoilt for choice, then you won’t be disappointed by the small town of San Teodore, just a 10 mins drive with an array of shops and restaurants and also coincidentally blessed with a vast gently shelving white sand beach that would compete on equal terms with some of the best of the Caribbean.

Golf: In Puntaldia there is a 9 holes field that could be considered a 'frame' of the beautiful San Teodoro gulf.

Fab Apartments !!

We had a fab holiday at the Monte Pedrosu Apts, the apt was perfect, clean, bright and had great sea views.

The Village had everything we needed inc some great places to eat, the beaches were easy to get to and a great selection to choose from (different beach each day).

We loved Sardinia and found the owners and the locals charming.

We will definatly return to Sardinia and would not dream of staying anywhere else but the Monte Pedrsou Apts !

Thanks to all concerned for a great holiday !!

Monte Pedrosu Apts, Just what we wanted !

We had a great week in the Monte Pedrou Apts, the Apt was exactly as described on the website, very clean , well equipped and the garden & pool an absolute joy.

The couple who looked after the apts were very friendly, but not in your face and everything was really cared for by them.

We too ate out at a few of the local restaurants end enjoyed them all, we also had a couple evenings on the balcony and had bbq's on terrace (there are shared bbq's in the grounds)

The beaches are great and we went to a different one every day, we found that renting sun beds on some of the beaches was a bit pricey so bought a couple of cheap folding beach chairs from the supermarket.

The holiday is just was we wanted and have come back home feeling refreshed and hope to return at some point in the future.

Monte Pedrosu

A great property, spacious, clean and well maintained. Beautiful view from the balcony, a perfect spot for meals. Our 3 year old loved the pool and the lovely beaches which were close by .It was also helpful having amenities within walking distance eg mini market and some nice restaurants . It was reassuring to see Carola who was helpful and knowledgeable eg giving us tips on where to eat and the cheapest supermarket.
Definately recommend this property and we hope to return next year.

Ideal for familes, Fantastic Holiday

We have just returned from two fantastic weeks staying at the Monte Pedrosu Apts, we found the apt clean, very well equipped, spacious and cool, the kids loved the swimming pool and the gardens.

We found the owners very friendly and helpful and they work very hard in the heat to keep the gardens pristine.

We appriciated the fact that everyone was considerate around the swimming pool (no rowdy behaviour) and the "quiet hour" in the afternoon reserved for quiet swimming, a great idea (my youngest had a siesta after lunch which meant we could stay out longer in the evening, bonus !).

We enjoyed the quiet evenings ( 2 or 3 of them) on the balcony whilst the kids slept & enjoyed and the stunning views over a bottle of local red.

We found the local beaches great, fab sand and clear waters, plus many other beaches a short drive away (inc La Cinca beach in San Teodoro, not to be missed) there is a wide choice of places to eat in the evening both locally in the village and in nearby San Paola & San Teodoro.

We go cheapo flights with Easyjet (even after all the extras !) and it was a quick drive to the apts, we thought it may be very expensive to eat out , fresh fish was quite expensive (but worth the treat) but the pizza places and smaller restaurants seemed cheaper than at back home.

All in all we had a great holiday and plan to return next year. !

Another great "bbq" restaurant has just opened in the village which is also proving very popular, and its also possible to have take outs to enjoy on your balcony.

A week at monte pedrosu

The apartment was clean and the gardens well maintained. The pool was lovely,sadly not open at the hottest time of the day, 1-4pm. View to sea stunning but the other way was a house being renovated, builder who worked almost every day we were there with noisy power tools, at 7.30am and in the evenings. The owners were a bit strict about ball games around the pool so not really suitable for boisterous children. Unable to walk to the beach, but the local beaches were beautiful and many of them to choose from. Local pizzeria very good.Would be great without the builders but really spoilt at the moment.

As per description the local beach is approx 1.6km away, I have walked it a few times but prefer to drive there too, especially when with the children and all their clobber, the White beaches of San Teodoro are about a 10 min drive but well worth it.

Glad you liked the local pizzeria, there spagetti vongula is pretty good too.

The neighbour who was re-tiling his patio has finished now and all is quiet, its a shame you did not advise us of the noise as we had another apt by the pool that was available for your week and could have easily moved you whilst he finished the tiling, but appologies for the noise.

We have many familes over the last 2 years staying at the Apartments, and most seem to appriciate that there is a bit of peace during the heat of the day whilst people have lunch and or have a nap (or both) , however we have taken note of your comments and now have a quiet time during lunch where where the pool is open, but request just quiet swims, again with ball games, its difficult to please all, but have found there is plenty of place outside the grounds or on the beach to play football.
