Skiing

You can ski from December to late February in the Troodos Mountain. They say you can ski in the morning and then be sunning yourself by the pool or on the beach in the afternoon. Try it!

Special interest holidays

Villa Athene is a good base from which to explore the various nature reserves and forests in Paphos. Paphos is great for bird watching, from the Villa itself you can hear and see Little Owls and other birds. In the Akamas Peninsular national reserve there is the Turtle sanctuary (at Lara) for the Loggerhead Turtle which you can visit.

Golf Information:

Villa Athene is an ideal base for golf lovers. Tsada Golf Club, Aphrodite Hills & Secret Valley Golf Club are all within easy reach. Located 20min from Paphos Town, Tsada Golf Club is 18 holes of superb Championship Golf set in the grounds of a 12th Century monastery in a gentle valley. It plays to a par 72 and measures 6060m. At an altitude of 550m above sea level ensures cool breezes during the summer.
