Separate comfortable and sunny bed and breakfast suite within a larger apartment, with its own kitchenette and marble bathroom situated on the fifth (and highest) floor of an elegant elevator building on Via Boncompagni, a cross street of Via Veneto. The apartment is furnished with antiques, Murano chandeliers, original art and has Venetian marble floors. The studio/suite consists of American-size twin beds, a large, mirrored armoire, table and chairs, satellite TV (CNN and other English channels available). The bathroom contains a marble shower, sink, toilet, and bidet. The kitchenette is equipped with a dual microwave/ electric oven, two stove top burners, toaster, half-sized refrigerator (with freezer), American and Italian coffee makers and dining wares. Air conditioning during the summer and heating during the winter are available 24 hours (normal heating in Italy is only available a certain number of hours a day from mid-November to mid-April).

The apartment is located on the Via Boncompagni, a wonderful elegant, safe, central (yet quiet) section of Rome, near the American, Japanese, and other Embassies and close to the shops and cafés of the Via Veneto, celebrated in Fellini’s 'La Dolce Vita.' Piazza di Spagna , Via Condotti, and Via del Babuino, some of the nicer shopping areas of Rome (clothing, antiques) are also within walking distance or a short bus/taxi ride away. Via Boncompagni is also near to Villa Borghese, one of Rome’s most beautiful parks which houses a number of attractions comprising a zoo, horseback riding, and wonderful museums, including the renowned Galleria Borghese and the Museum of Modern Art. The apartment is only a short 10/15 minute walk from the Stazione Termini (the central train station) and the Barberini metro station. It is very well connected by buses and taxis with other areas of Rome (the Vatican, the University of Rome, the Colosseum, etc.).

This rent is really situated in a magnificent building and in a district close to the station and to the centre, we were able to make all our visits in feet. The owner very friendly welcomed us, suggesting us reserving for us museums and showing itself very available. The room was very pleasant and warmed well and the substantial supplied breakfast. We shall be delighted to be able to return to it.
