Vilamoura holiday apartment

My wife and I had a great time in Vilamoura, the apartment was amazing and the location could not have been better for us. The view from the balcony was fantastic looking over part of the marina and out to the boat yard and sea beyond, sitting having breakfast and watching the early morning joggers and spotting the regulars was a good way to ease yourself into the day and eating an evening meal or enjoying a glass of wine after a busy day sunbathing was even better.
It is close to the Lake Resort and around the corner from the main part of the Marina so no problem with noise, the closest beach is about 10-15 minute easy walk and once you get your bearings there are a few short cuts to get you to the shops and marina. The apartment has everything you need and well furnished, clean, all towels supplied, the second double bed was a surprise as I thought it was a single bed apartment but by clever use of space it works and came in handy as our daughter stayed for a few days. Friends staying in a town house along the street visited us and were very jealous of the view and style of the apartment and would consider booking it. Any problems or questions we had were sorted out with a phone call to the local representives who were both very helpful. The apartment would suit 2 couples although you have to share the bathroom off the main bedroom there is a seperate toilet. The whole apartment block is well lit and spotlessly clean also the sercuity guys at the main desk were always pleasant and helpful. The pool area was always well maintained and not usually that busy. There are many restaurants at the Marina but move back a few streets and usually they are a little cheaper and you are spoilt for choice.
