This stunning luxury self catering chalet lies on a quiet road on the edge of Morzine. Just 15 minutes walk from the centre of the village, and only 40 metres from the ski bus stop, it is ideally situated for both small groups and families. Access to restaurants, nightlife and the ski slopes surrounding Morzine is easy, and the chalet benefits from a peaceful location. Sleeping 8-10 self catering, with all bedrooms en-suite, this brand new chalet has been completed to a beautifully high specification. We recommend a maximum of 8 adults as the additional beds to make the numbers up to 10 are best suited to children. Guests can enjoy breathtaking mountain views from one of the many balconies, or relax in front of the wood fire in the centre of the open plan living area. The interior combines modern luxuries with traditional Savoyarde charm, providing a stylish and comfortable ambiance - perfect for socializing after a busy day in the mountains.

Morzine is ideally located for access to the massive Portes Du Soleil ski area and its 14 ski resorts. From Morzine, skiers can travel all the way into Switzerland! All levels of skiers from beginners to experts will find their perfect slopes. From Morzine, skiers can access both the Morzine/ Les Gets ski area and also the higher altitude Avoriaz ski area with its highly recommended ski schools. Public transport is widely available. Free regular shuttle buses serve the centre and stop at the major ski-lifts. These buses stop just 40 metres from ‘Chalet Lucie’. There is also a free 'road train' shuttle between the Super Morzine and Le Pleney cable cars. Morzine has maintained its strong Savoyard character. At an altitude of 1000 m, its woody, hilly environment contrasts with the sheer mountains that surround it. The quality of the service at its restaurants, allied with high-quality local production, make Morzine a top pick for Savoyard gastronomy.

Very Stylish Chalet

8 of us stayed here in January 2009 for a week. It was brilliant ! The living room is superb with enough room for everyone to relax and enjoy some great evenings in. With the price of drinks in town this proved to be the best choice for some lively nights in. Roaring log fire,pool table, great balcony, superb kitchen facilities, beatiful leather sofas and large plasma TV - what more could you ask for?
The bedrooms were ideal. All have balconies and en-suite bathrooms and are clean and spacious. Get in quick and grab the master bedroom - its brilliant.!!!
The chalet is on the outskirts of the town centre, but it can be walked in approximately 15 minutes.
I would love to go back here and I would recommend this chalet to everyone.

Last January (2008) we booked Chalet Lucie direct with the ownwers for a very reasonable price. we saw the pictures on the net and assumed it would be adequate for our needs.
It exceeded our expectations in every way and having just returned from a week in Courcheval, I can tell anyone who is interested in Chalet Lucie that the experience is above average.
Morzine is a low resort with fairly limited adventure but dont let this put you off.
A 30 minute journey gets you into the heart of Avoriaz which has enough skiing to last a lifetime.
I wanted to return to CL this year but was overruled by the team who wanted to go to Courche. At 10 e a pint and 6e for a cuppa it was an expensive holiday.
This chalet is 4 starplus and is one of the best we have used in the last 10 years.
It may be that we go back in 2010 if we all still have jobs and I dont get overruled!
