Relax in this peaceful stone house in the unspoilt valley of Lake Bolsena
These two restored stone farmhouses are situated in a privileged position in a wide and sunny valley between the town of Montefiascone and lake Bolsena. The views all around are stunning and the lake shore, with safe bathing beaches, ideal for small children, is a gentle five to ten minute stroll away. Both farmhouses are divided into two separate two-storey cottages (which can be internally connected for larger parties) with exclusive external areas for al fresco dining and a large shared garden for sunbathing and outdoor games. The character accommodation is comfortably furnished and well equipped. Sail boats, canoes and pedalos are available on the lake and a horse riding stables is just a few minutes walk away. The area is ideal for walking, cycling and birdwatching and there are many vestiges of the Etruscan and roman civilizations as well as stunning walled towns such as Orvieto, Pitigliano and Tuscania. Excellent restaurants can be found within a few minutes of the farmhouses

This cottage is southeast facing and is characterised by a large wood beam portico, accessed from the living room, ideal for al fresco dining. The accomodation comprises on the ground floor: a dining room with direct access to the portico, a well equipped kitchen with a wood fire pizza oven (in addition to an electric oven). On the 1st floor there are 3 double bedrooms, each with french windows leading to balconies with views towards Montefiascone and the Rocca, and a bathroom. There is also an additional covered panoramic terrace, perfect for al fresco dining. The cottage also comes equipped with a barbecue and Sat TV. There is a washing machine that is shared with the other cottages. There are solar panels that generator hot water, however it is also equipped with a electric back-up system. The total floor space area is about 110 sqm. Sleeps 6 persons. This cottage can be internally connected to Toscanella B for a total of 10+2 sleeping places.
