Large self catering apartment and studio for rent in Megeve. Both perfectly situated for your winter ski holidays or summer walks in the Alps. Both apartments very charming in typical chalet style furnishings with an open log wood burning fire in the large apartment. The large apartment and studio are adjacent and can be let together to provide most comfortable family accommodation up to 8-10 people, or can be let singularly; Large apartment sleeps 6 and studio sleeps 2-4. Beautifully positioned in Les Hauts de Rochebrune boasting wide terraces and fantastic views; a gorgeous winter and summer retreat. The Chalet is very close to the pistes and it's possible to ski to the nearest lift car park at Rochebrune, and ski back to the chalet off piste. Parking at the chalet is good with ample external parking spaces. Both apartments have comfortable lounge with TV and very well appointed kitchens with all the usual appliances. Plenty of living space and bedroom furniture.

Megeve is situated just 1 hour (80km) due south from Geneva, 45 minutes from Chamonix , an hour from Italy via the Mont Blanc Tunnel, and an hour from Lake Annecy, one of France's prettiest lakes. With Mont Blanc in full view, the medieval town of Megève offers elegance and charm to rival the most prestigious of resorts. Shops, boutiques and cafés line the traffic-free, cobbled streets where “people watching” is a local past time. The 300 kms of piste which form the impressive Evasion ski area is comprised of tree lined slopes, open bowls and bump fields. Your lift pass also covers neighbouring St. Gervais, St. Nicholas and Combloux. The 'Mont d'Arbois' area provides more challenging reds as do the higher black runs on 'Mont Joly'. The main attractions for experts here are the powder and off piste runs. This stylish resort is renowned for its jazz clubs, piano bars and gourmet restaurants. Megeve is home to two of the worlds best mountain restaurants, 'Le Ideal' and La Raviere.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The prices indicated have been reduced for a limited period by approx 30%. Rates are between £350 and £1000 per week depending upon season and rental of apartment/ studio or both. Should you be interested in renting both apartments a reasonable discount will be offered. Please ring or email for further clarification.
  • Rental Period runs from Saturday to Saturday is a minimum of a week. Other rental durations would be considered on a discretionary basis and would depend up on booking levels. We expect a deposit cheque payment of £50 for the issue of keys which will be returned on receipt of keys at end of holiday.
    Apartment have to be vacated by 12 noon on the last day of rental.

  • The large apartment has one attractive, modern bathroom fitted with one bath with shower, and bidet, The water supply services the whole chalet with constant hot water supply at all times. The toilet is in a separate room, along the corridor. The studio has one bathroom with same fittings and includes the toilet.

All bedrooms are simple but charming, and come fitted with wardrobes and chest of drawers with added space for further clothes/ coats etc in fitted wardrobes in the corridor. A spare double sofa bed is in the living room which means the apartment can sleep up to 6 people. The adjacent apartment next door is a studio and can sleep up to 4 people. The two apartments can be rented together sleeping up to a max of 10 people. This arrangement suits rentals for large/ double families.
