Finca Sa Carrotja has 5 double bedrooms with 4 en-suite. A large covered terrace, with seating and dining table for 10 overlooks the private swimming pool and is surrounded by countryside with distant sea views. The house has an eat-in kitchen & dining room with interconnecting sitting room. Upstairs there is a 2nd reception room. Facilities include: table-tennis, a pool table, Nintendo Wii, DVD, Hi-Fi, internet & satellite TV with large LCD flat screen. Alternatively you can relax on either of the roof terraces and enjoy the countryside and sea views. All bedrooms have either roof or garden terraces. The house is centrally heated and is ideal for 2 families. Located 5 minutes from the nearest beach and within 10 minutes of many other beautiful beaches. Porto Cristo is 5 minutes away and Palma 45 min. There are 4 golf courses in close proximity to the villa and 2 tennis clubs within 10 minutes. Other activities in the area include horse riding, sailing, cycling and coastal walks.

Porto Cristo is most famous for the Caves of Ham and Drac. It has a lovely marina and beach and good restaurants catering for all tastes and budgets. Activities at the marina include trips on glass bottom boats, swimming, and wind-surfing. Also in Porto Cristo there are 2 supermarkets. Manacor,Mallorca's 2nd biggest town, is 10 minutes away and has all the important commercial facilities including supermarkets, a hospital, restaurants and boutiques. There is a pleasant square with a beautiful church. On Mondays there is a large market. Manacor is also famous for its pearls, furniture and Rafael Nadal! 15 minutes north of Manacor are the small towns of Arta and Capdepera which are both interesting and steeped with history. Also in the North East are the finest beaches in Mallorca including Cala Mesquida. Palma is 30 minutes from Manacor. The capital of Mallorca has an international reputation for its shops, restaurants and outstanding buildings the most notable being the Cathederal.

  • On the 1st floor are 3 double bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. All the 1st floor bedrooms have good quality fitted wardrobes and roof terraces. Please note that the double beds have separate mattresses within the frame and on request can be made up with 2 single duvets. On the ground floor, bedrooms 4 & 5 are inter-connecting and share a brand new bathroom, with bath and separate walk-in shower. Bedroom 4 has 2 single beds and bedroom 5 has a double bed. They both have wardrobes and chests of drawers and both lead onto a garden terrace.

Notes: In addition there is a downstairs toilet and upstairs, a separate, fully-tiled, fully-equipped utility room. In the downstairs living room, there is a Nintendo Wii, DVD player and a large selection of DVDS. New for 2009 is wireless broadband and a large flat screen LCD TV. Outside, there is a barbecue. By the pool there is an outdoor shower enclosure recently upgraded with mosaic tiles. On the terrace there is a corner rattan sofa and coffee table along with dining table and 10 rattan dining chairs. Also new for 2009 are 2 swings opposite the terrace and suitable for children under 12. In the double garage there is a table tennis table with bats and balls. There is a second reception area on the upstairs landing, with a pool table, sofa and coffee table.

Das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz für 10 Personen, hat 5 Schlafzimmer und 4 Bäder. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man sich an Ausstattung wünschen kann: Nespresso Maschine, Waschmaschine, div. Küchengeräte, zwei Kühlschränke, Billardtisch, Tischtennistisch, div. Spiele, eine riesige DVD Sammlung, 3 Sonnenschirme, Schwimmtiere u.ä. für den Pool etc.

Das Haus liegt sehr nahe der kleinen Hafenstadt Portocristo. Ganz in der Nähe (10 Autominuten) befinden sich auch zwei wunderschöne Buchten mit türkisblauem Wasser und schönem Sandstrand.

Absolut empfehlenswert für Gruppen und/oder Familien.
