Ski-ing and Golf:
6400ft Mount Olympus for WINTER SKI-ING is about an hour’s drive away. So on an ideal February day you can ski in the morning and come back to the coast to sun yourself in the afternoon or go off to the golf course.
Cyprus has 3 MAJOR GOLF COURSES and all are within a 20-25 minute drive from our apartment. Secret Valley is 12 miles east with grand trees and beautiful rock formations all around. Aphrodite Hills is nearby, 1000 feet above sea level on two parallel plateaux flanking the cavernous Randidi Gorge, and Tsada is about 10 miles north of Paphos town set in the grounds of a 12th century monastery 1800 feet above sea level. Enjoy your golf during the day but make the short drive back to Paphos for your entertainment in the evenings.

The apartment is in the centre of Paphos, a 10-minute walk to the harbour, 15 minutes at most to the Old Town.
Frequent buses run from just outside Queens Gardens to both harbour and Old Town and also up the coast to the tourist beaches of Coral Bay (Euro1.20 in spring 2008), so that car hire is an option rather than a necessity.
Golf:

All courses par 71/72, 6060 - 6299 metres long. Practice facilities available at each, Video coaching and PGA qualified instructors. Spacious clubhouses have bars and restaurants. Tsada has a tennis court and open-air pool. Enjoy your golf during the day but make the short drive back to Paphos for your evening's entertainment!
