Apartment Vista Mar (Sea Views)
This delightful modern and comfortable apartment is set within walking distance of the new promenade at Reis Magos. Enjoy the benefits of being close to the sea and diving school. This is a quiet and relaxing location on the southeast coast of Madeira with views to the Desertas islands. Just 5 minutes driving to the town of Caniço where there is a full range of restaurants, bars, shops and even tenpin bowling. The balcony has sea views to enjoy and romantic dine al fresco. There is a good timetable of buses to Funchal city center and the other tourist attractions, golf, horse riding, diving all nearby. Although a hired car is recommended to give you more freedom to explore the island. Just 10 minutes driving is Santa Cruz where there is a farmer market which sells fresh meat, fish, vegetables, fruits and flowers. Nearby there is also an aqua park open from Easter to the end of the summer where there are exciting slides and rapids for the family.

Among the many tourist attractions possible to visit you will find the botanical gardens, the farmers market where you can purchase fresh fish, exotic flowers, tropical fruits, visit wine lodges to taste Madeira wine, embroidery factories where the local people can be seen using their skills. Enjoy the cable car journey upwards to Monte village with the Monte Palace Tropical Gardens and down afterwards in the toboggan basket exciting ride.
