Ours is a purpose built Eco friendly tropical house.
This holiday house is at Trinity Beach Cairns. It is designed for comfortable living in the tropics and is the perfect Australian beach holiday house. The lush gardens are home to many birds large and small, green tree frogs and night time mammals. Just up the road a colony of wallabies live happily on the Polo Club grounds where they coexist with the horses. The cool of the mornings and evenings are the best time to observe them. The area has won awards as Cairns favourite, friendliest, and cleanest beach. The locals are proud to live here. Trinity Beach is just a short walk away. A small shopping centre, restaurants, clubs and the Trinity Beach Hotel are very close. Your hosts Helen and Gerry, can arrange transport to and from the International Airport, Car Hire, all Reef, Rain forest and Fishing tours and can even have a food hamper waiting for you. Nothing is too difficult, just let us know your requirements. We want you to enjoy your Trinity Beach holiday.

Trinity Beach,Cairns is centrally located near the best of The Great Barrier Reef spots, and the world renowned Daintree Rainforest. Here the Great Barrier Reef is closest to the coastline so you can be diving and snorkeling the outer reef in the quickest time along the length of the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef. The Daintree Rainforest is the oldest on earth and houses flora and fauna unique to this area. We are still learning from the original inhabitants, the Tjapukai and other tribes about the medicines and foods available only there. Already, life saving drugs have been developed from local rainforest plants. The fishing can be spectacular with anglers catching and releasing giant Marlin through to reef fishing for the delectable and beautifully coloured Coral Trout. Only a couple of hours west you enter the outback and can see the longest lava tubes found anywhere, the limestone scenery and caves at Chillago and experience the vastness of this country.

This year the house was booked almost continually from June until November. Each year the bookings have increased so I would suggest that to avoid disappointment enquiries be made early.

| Notes: | Non smoking indoors please. A mid stay change with clean linen and towels is usually scheduled every seven days but this can be done more frequently with a charge to cover our costs. Your hosts Helen and Gerry have sound knowledge of the area including some out of the way places that you may care to visit. We will assist with friendly advice and make your bookings for you at no charge. There are no savings to be made by booking prior to arrival, and changing weather conditions can easily spoil an outing that could have been had a day earlier or later. This is especially true with Reef and Fishing trips. Some days it is better to visit the Rainforest rather than the Reef. We always monitor the weather forecasts and can keep you advised. The house telephone is programmed to make free local and emergency calls only, but we have a supply of phone cards available. . |
