Very nice apartment, perfect view, great for kids

We (2 adults, one one-year old child) have been there twice now, one week in March and two in July. The appartment is very nice with its four bedrooms, the kitchen, two bathrooms (one outside across the front balcony) and a large living room with a fireplace. Not to forget the large terrace/balcony on the back side which is fantastic with it's free 180° panorma over the sea which is some 20m away. It is well possible to stay there with two couples and 1-2 children each, depending on their age. But it makes great sense also for only one couple, as we know ;-)
Son Serra is a quite and (for Mallorca) relativly untouristic village with a lot of spanish residents living there on the weekend (my assumption - it was not at all anything like any other spots, like the neighbourhood in Can Picafort or Alcudia). You will need a car to get there and back, e.g. for the next supermarket which is some 6km away in Can Picafort. A drive across the whole Island down to Palma takes some 30-45 minutes.
There are two natural beaches in Son Serra, one is smaller and the other one at the very east end of Son Serra, is a large one in a protected natural zone. Best thing is the small river (with only some inches of depth) which flows across the beach, so there is sweetwater as well. A perfect place for (little) kids. Not to forget the two restaurants, "El Sol" and "Lago" in front of the beach which have very friendly staff and really good food.
