Equipped kitchen. Mountain views & balcony. Newly refurbished, well equipped kitchen. 50m from ski lift and 500m from village centre. Ski hire, pizzeria & bakery on ground floor. - Winter activities: Skiing (265km of piste - links direct to Flaine - excellent snow record), cross country skiing, ice climbing, snow shoeing, dog sledding, ice skating. - Summer activities: Mountain biking (600km of routes and use of ski lifts nearby), road biking, walking (900km of trails), canoeing, rafting, via ferrata, horse riding. Situated next to the river. Access: Geneva airport - 1 hour transfer (good budget connections) or 8 hours by car from Calais. The valley nestles between the Morzine and Chamonix valley

You've just missed the best season in 25years - book now for the next one! This apartment is only 50m from the Grand Massif express lift - just 10mins on the lift to the main slopes of the Grand Massif ski area. Samoens itself has easy access from Geneva (hire car, bus, taxi) and is also only 30mins from Morzine and 40mins from Chamonix if you manage to ski all the Grand Massif, so the ski/snowboarding options are endless. Chamonix is at the foot of Mount Blanc which can be summited in one day and has limitless trails in the summer for mountain biking, walking etc. Morzine keeps its ski lifts open in the summer for more hours of fun walking or biking. For the road cyclists amongst you, the route from Samoens to Morzine is over the infamous Joux Plan if you are feeling energetic! For water sports (sailing, wake boarding, swimming, beach etc), Lake Geneva is 45 min and Lake Annecy is 1 hr by car. Both locations are recommended for a day out.

Great little apartment in the lovely village of Samoens. Perfect location for the ski lift and close to bakery, pizzeria and ski hire - all the necessities! Apartment itself is ideal for a family or a couple - but any more than four starts to become cosy, but easy enough as there is plenty of storage. Kitchen well equipped. Would thoroughly recommend. Enjoy!

The apartment is ideal and although we had a problem with the hot water it was sorted out very quickly by the owner.

The apartment is well furnished and has everything you need. The bakers below is great and produces lovely bread and sandwiches (ideal for taking on the mountain).

The main ski lift is just over the road and there is a ski hire shop in the same block.

It is a short walk into Samoens which is a great little village with all the usual shops, pubs and restaurants, if you want to watch sport the Irish bar has Sky TV.

I would recommend the apartment and the village and with regard to the skiing there is a variety of all levels including some great piste and off piste over in Flaine

The apartment is very comfortable and cosy. It is in an excellent location, right next to the Grand Massif Express. Located underneath the apartment is a bakery, pizza place and ski hire shop all ideal to make life easy of which I would recommend. A short picturesque walk into the pretty village with great shops, restaurants and facilities. The rental agency were always helpful. Our two teenagers loved it.

CONGRATULATIONS ON A FANTASTIC APARTMENT!!!

We stayed here during Christmas 2008 for the first time, but have stayed in Samoens many times previously. The apartment is in a fantastic location situated as it is within spitting distance of the Grand Massif Express and 5 minutes from the village centre. The smell of freshly baked bread and croissants in the morning is great!!

The apartment is extremely well stocked with everything a family of five would need - it even has a potato masher!!!toaster and kettle. The view from the patio window is stunning especially during this time of year when the snow has fallen.

This is probably the best apartment we have stayed in within the Samoens area and both Aaran and Sally should be congratulated on their decoration and design of the apartment itself. Would love to visit again in the summer season to see what it has to offer.

Would recommend the Boulangerie Tiffanie for bread and cakes daily which is situated below the apartment, and also the pizzeria, also below, which opens nightly (ish) (French times) and has a great selection of pizzas.

The service we received from Aaran was first class and I would, without hesitation, recommend this apartment to family and friends in the future.

In summary, excellent facilities in a superb location with top class service. Thanks for a fantastic time - we will return.

Lovely and restful location. Mountains all around carpeted in wild flowers. Beautiful walks - from a gentle amble to full on hike. An unspoilt Alpine village which has lots to offer - great restaurants and friendly locals. Apartment delightful location next to the river.
