Villa Montana Vista is a very spacious and immaculately presented new 3 bedroom villa with an impressive 8 x 4m private pool situated in a fantastic sunny hillside location above the town of Calpe. The villa boasts superb views to the nearby mountains, the Mediterranean and the imposing Penon de Ifach. It is located in a pleasant and private residential area not far from Calpe railway station and within 10 mins drive of the town and local beaches. Built on two floors to a modern specification with central heating and double glazing, it comfortably accommodates up to 6 people. The main bedroom has an en suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath. There is a further double en suite bedroom and a twin bedroom with WC/shower room. Large lounge/diner with stereo system and satellite TV. All of the bedrooms and the lounge/diner have ceiling fans. Separate kitchen and utility room. The property has extensive terracing with a solarium, barbecue terrace and al fresco dining area.

Villa Montana Vista is situated in Calpe on the scenic northern Costa Blanca approximately 65 kilometres north of Alicante. It is surrounded by pine woodland and boasts exceptional sea and mountain views. Tourist attractions in the surrounding area include the Guadalest Monastery, Algar Springs, Jalon Valley wine tasting, local markets, Vergel Safari Park, Terra Natura, the Terra Mitica adventure theme park, Aqualandia water park, Mundomar exotic wildlife park and Benidorm Palace (superb dinner show). Alicante airport is approximately one hour by car. Calpe has a good number of bars and an excellent choice of restaurants of international and Spanish local cuisine to suit all budgets. The traditional Spanish fishing port and the Old Town offer a welcome contrast to the cosmopolitan beach front promenade and the wonderful sandy beaches which extend either side of the Penon de Ifach. Those who like walking will especially enjoy the signposted 4 hour circuit around the Sierra Olta.

Notes: Not suitable for infants or very young children. All fittings, furniture and fixtures are almost new. Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms, both of which are en suite and have access via patio doors to a large private sun terrace from where there are panoramic views over pine-wooded hills towards Calpe Town, Penon de Ifach and and the sea. The master bedroom has a walk-in dressing room. Downstairs there is a further twin bedroom, a separate WC/shower room, separate utility room with washing machine and a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and large fridge/freezer. The ground floor has a big open plan lounge/dining room with satellite TV, stereo system and DVD. The lounge opens up to a large covered al fresco dining area and lower terrace which overlooks the swimming pool. The terrace extends around to the sunny poolside terrace with outside shower. From the pool, there is access to a barbecue terrace with an outdoor table and chairs.

With spectacular views, but only a short drive to Calpe we found this villa ideal. Set in lovely countryside on the mountain with fantastic panaramic views. With the current poor exchange rate we chose to shop in the well stocked supermarkets and then enjoyed fantastic barbeques, using the excellent kitchen and barbeque facilities. We had trouble getting the children out of the pool and the villa was spacious enough for them to have fun and us to relax. The villa is fully equipped with quality decor. You can escape the fast pace of modern life and enjoy a top quality relaxing time. Highly recommended.

Lovely comfortable villa, and met expectations, located on the slopes of Olta Mar mountain, presenting panaramic views of Calpe and the Penon de Ifach.

Even though weather was variable, the location and comfort of the villa suited us perfectly. We walked from the villa along well marked tracks around the lovely Olta Mar mountain (and intend next time to go beyond to the higher Sierra Bernia for more serious stuff). Calpe beaches were within 10 minute drive and we found free car parking spaces very easily close to the clean beaches. Sea temperatures were around the 20 degree C mark and we had a great time in the waves. Climbed to the top of Penon de Ifach (spectacular limestone rock you see from the villa) - wonderful views from the top. I recommend that if you want to get to the top, go beyond the tunnel half way up wearing stout footwear with good grips, have a head for heights, and be sure footed, for the rocky path can be tricky (not recommended for young children).
We dined in the villa some nights, and sat chatting on the balcony soaking in the views. And we tried out several restaurants - some great value and others not so. Took a trip out to Javea - pleasant stony beach and frontage frequented by Brits & Germans, Moraira - nice neat place with sandy beach but it rained so didn't hang around. Would give Denia a miss though.

Wendy & Craig in the Calpe mountain shop opposite the station down the road were very helpful (and they stock local wines and free range eggs and other basic provisions).

We shall recommend this to friends, and Fiona is planning our next visit !

We had a wonderful time in this villa. It was everything we could have wanted and more. The villa was very clean and well equipped. The train and main road are NOT an issue at all, the train passes once and hour for about 10 seconds and it is not a huge train it is more like a small tram. So if you are going to book this villa do not let the comment left about the road and train noise put you off because it really is not a problem.
I would suggest that you take a sat nav with you, we had one and it made the journey to the villa a lot easier.
Also, taxis are very easy to book down into Calpe and quite resonable.
Everything about our holiday was perfect, excellent communications with Peter and excellent service from Craig and Wendy. Would not hesitate recommending this villa.

We had a fantastic time at this villa. The whole place was immaculately presented & very clean. Pool was the so warm in July & the perfect size for a family. Amazing views of Calpe etc. The perfect location for day trips out.
Far enough from Calpe to be 'away from it all' yet only 7 mins drive into Calpe centre for shopping, beach & restuarants.
(very little noise from main road & train - not really an issue)
Comes recommended, deserves 5 Stars.

we have had many villa holidays in calpe but this villa was truly the best, 5 stars all the way, breathtaking views beautiful furnishings, comfy beds, fabulous pool area and bbq, completely private not over looked. 5 minutes drive to main town and beach. we enjoyed the villa so much we have booked it again for out next break. john and joyce.
