Set in the heart of Etruscan and Medieval Italy, the small town of Otricoli is 1 km away with its shops and restaurants and enchanting archaeological site on Tiber river.
The charming, medieval town of Narni is 15 km away. The magnificent Marmore waterfalls are also close by (35 km). 50 minutes to Rome by fast train from the well-connected Orte station. From Borghetto Flaminio direct train to Fiumicino Rome airport (1 hour).

At the beginning of May a beautiful Medieval Festival is hold in the town of Narni.
At the end of the month fireflies come out at dusk creating a magical atmosphere.
The garden, with its lawn surrounded by trees and flowers, is graced by a particularly beautiful sky in July and August. Many villages hold typical rural festivals the whole summer long.
In September you can take part in our grape harvest.
October is perfect for the thermal baths of Viterbo with their natural hot springs. Our country house has been home to us for years. We have restored it with loving care and furnished it in an elegant country style. We love it so much we want to share it with others.
We live in Rome where we work and go to school (our family consists of an ophtalmologist, a paediatrician and two students), but we own a farmhouse and vineyard not far from Santo Iolo.
