Quarteira holiday apartment

We stayed here in June and had a lovely holiday. When we arrived at the apartment, we noticed that all the blocks along the seafront were older and more established buildings and we began to wonder whether the apartment may not be that modern inside. However, the interior of the apartment was immaculate, the finish in the bathrooms and kitchen was better than you see in some newbuild apartments. We loved the furniture and the colour schemes and found them to be very inviting. Most importantly the apartment was fresh and clean. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely Portuguese lady who spoke excellent English, she gave us a demonstration of how everything worked and pointed us in the direction of the nearest Supermarkets (there are plenty). We have already recommended the apartment to some friends of ours, but unfortunately the owner did not have any availability. We plan to return next year so it looks like we will need to book soon. There are many places to visit, the apartment is very close to the bus station and we took a bus to Albufeira for the day. Vilamoura is a pleasant half an hour walk along the coast, or less than 5e in a cab. You have everything on your doorstep though, so for those that like to relax in one place it is possible to do so here and you certainly do not need a car.

My wife and I have just returned from a memorable holiday with our friends in Quarteira. We are so pleased that we decided to go for this apartment, as there was quite a lot of choice, but luckily for us we picked a gem. As the title suggests our expectations were exceeded. The apartment was spotless, very well furnished and the owner is certainly correct in claiming that the view from the balcony is one of the best you'll ever have seen. We were amazed that someone would put in so much effort and attention to detail on a holiday home. The surrounding area is also fantastic, plenty to do and lots of choice as far as restaurants are concerned. Try Mirobriga Restaurante, walk all the way to the end of the promenade (away from Vilamoura) and it is located one block back from the seafront. Without hesitation we would recommend this property to a friend. Thank you for making our holiday a success.

The apartment was very spacious and meant we had plenty of space for "baby accessories." The first thing we noticed was how bright and airy the apartment was and then the amazing view from the balcony. I was staying with my parents and son (11 months old) and we were all really happy with the apartment and its location. We can not fault it in any way, even the fact that there is not a lift in the block would not put us off booking again. My parents had stayed in Villamoura the year before and whilst staying there they walked to Quarteira everyday for the local fish market and quality reasonable restaurants. So we decided to book this seafront apartment in quarteira. For really friendly service and beer served in a glass wellington boot, visit the Fifties Bar, about 50 yards to the right of the apartment if you are facing the sea.
