The property is located on its own private 12 acre hill just 7km outside the unspoilt village of La Garde-Freinet which has a good range of local shops, services and restaurants and a true Provencal ‘feel’. The setting in the heart of the Massif de Maures is breathtaking with uninterrupted natural scenery and peace, while only 20 minutes to the coast and 40 minutes from Toulon airport and just over an hour to Nice. Tennis - There are tennis courts in nearby La Garde-Freinet and also a tennis club in Grimaud. Golf - Two top-class 18 hole golf courses within ½ hour drive (St Endreol and Barbarous) and coastal courses at Beauvallon and St Maxime. Walks and Bike rides and idyllic picnic spots at the nearby lake of Les Escarcets and magnificent walks and bike trails in the hills including the GR9 which winds through the Maures hills with unrivaled views on all sides. Stables – livery stable on the outskirts of Grimaud which offer lessons and riding in the hills.
