Review of Ciudad Blanca

Date of Stay: July 2008
We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this wonderful apartment. We stayed from 26th July - 9th August. This was absolutely perfect for our family. There were 2 adults (38 & 39), a 20yr old male & 17yr old male & 10 yr old female. The weather was in the 40's through the day & didnt really drop below 25 at night. The only thing I could fault with the apartment was that there was no air conditioning, however fans were provided throughout the apartment. There are 2 bedrooms (1 double & 1 containing bunk beds which is perfect for younger children). There are also 2 sofas in the lounge, which the lads used as beds. It has everything you would need, toaster, microwave, kettle, iron, fridge. The complex is lovely aswell. It has 2 swimming pools & plenty of activities going on. It is an all inclusive hotel so we tended to eat & drink out rather than using the complex eateries. We never sampled the evening entertainment which is provided though. There are quite a lot of steps to the apartment so I wouldn't say it would be suitable for anybody with walking difficulties.
The apartment overlooks the beach & has spectacular views. It is only a short walk to the main street where there are plenty of bars & restaurants to choose from . There is Pizza Hut & KFC across the road & Burger King around the corner. We found 2 really nice restaurants, Roma which is just across the road & around the corner, & a restaurant/bar called The Jolly Roger which is near the Bellevue complex down a sideroad. ( I would highly recommend both of these). Sunday dinner is beautiful in Rockerfellas (english bar), far better than mine, choice of beef or chicken (or mix of both), mash, roast potatoes, 3 veg, yorkshire pudding & lashings of Bisto gravy, only 9.50 euros :-). On the whole a fantastic holiday that we will most certainly return to. I wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending this to anyone.
