Each bedroom has its own gorgeous ensuite with walk in drench shower and slate floors and individual balconies all with sea views overlooking the bay. Leaving you wanting for nothing, the apartment is furnished with modern, stylish fittings. You will love the spacious living area, fully equipped kitchen with state of the art appliances. Discovery at Marigot Bay is on the west coast of the island, about 5 miles south of the capital Castries. Hewanorra International Airport is about an hours drive away and FL Charles regional airport at Castries is only 20 minutes away. Marigot Bay is a beautiful natural bay nestling amongst the surrounding lush hillsides and is popular with the sailing fraternity. The location was used in the early production of the film 'Dr Doolittle' starring Rex Harrison. The towns of Castries and Soufriere, and the stunning Pitons are easily reached by water taxi from the marina. Other trips around the lush tropical island, either by sea or land can be easily arranged through the hotel concierge desk. Discovery at Marigot Bay is also the perfect place for romantic weddings and honeymooners.

We stayed at this apartment for Christmas (2008) and New Year and had a fabulous holiday. Everything was perfect. The owner was very friendly and quick to respond to our every need. The apartment was very spacious, well maintained and the height of luxury. The snowy white towels and bed linen were a delight and the ensuite bathrooms huge. The staff at Discovery were extremely friendly remembering our daughters name and making her feel very special. The beach is a boat ride across the bay and you'll also find a very special restaurant, Rainforest Hideaway across there. Discovery provide excellent food especially fish and chips served wrapped in local newspaper - an absolute must! St Lucia is a stunningly beautiful island and the local taxi driver (Mustin) knew exactly where to go to show us the very best of the views. All in all we had a wonderful holiday - we didn't want to come home. If you want a peaceful, relaxing, luxury holiday then this is the place for you.
