The apartment forms part of an attractive town house just a few minutes walk from the town centre, the ski station and the Bahts (spa). It is situated on the ground floor for easy access and has the benefit of free parking on the street outside. The accommodation is offered furnished and equipped for for 4 guests and comprises:- One large bedroom (with mountain views) with a double and 2 single beds. Comfortable living area, Dining and fully-equipped kitchen area, Shower room Cauterets provides excellent facilities for all types of winter sports. The apartment is 7 minutes walk to the tele-cabin - a new 8 person bubble - speeding you to the top of the snowfields. The Cirque de Lys offers a great range of 25pistes between 1700m and 2400m with plenty for the more adventurous and the beginner. . The new bubble service can also be used in summer by both walkers and cyclist to enjoy panoramic views over the Pyrenees. After a day on the moutain how about a relaxing spa?

Cauterets is a spa town, a ski resort and a commune of the Hautes-Pyrénées département, in southwestern France at an altitude of 950m. Cauterets is located 32 km southwest of Lourdes. It lies in the beautiful valley of the Gave de Cauterets and borders the Pyrenees National Park at Pont d’Espagne. Cauterets is a well established Spa centre for “The Cure”with its thermal springs offering traditional and contemporary therapies for your well being. It is a lively town with plenty of bars and restaurants catering to your every taste. The cuisine is influenced by French, Spanish, Basque and wider European traditions Tennis enthusiasts are well catered for and you might like to try your hand in the Pelote-Basque court – best described as a kind of outdoor squash. The architecture also offers a point of interest with many differing traditional French styles. The Office de Tourism dominates the central square and the indoor market, which runs throughout the year, is another fine example.

Skiing Information:
Cauterets provides excellent facilities for all types of winter sports. The apartment is 7 minutes walk to the tele-cabin - a new 8 person bubble - speeding you to the top of the snowfields. The Cirque de Lys offers a great range of 25 pistes between 1700m and 2400m with plenty for the more adventurous and the beginner. There is a restaurant and sun-terrace there to provide a welcome break with stunning views of the pistes –see the link for the new webcam In addition there are 36km of cross country tracks and 15 pistes between 1500m and 1700m at Pont d’Espagne. For the more experienced skier or boarder there are plenty of opportunities to go off-piste with a guide or perhaps to try raquettes or telemarking.
