MOUNTAIN SPORTS:
Mountain biking is an especially popular sport around the valleys and mountains of Salzburg. Summer lifts can take you and your bike to the top of a mountain to either take the sensible route down or to follow the downhill circuits used by the World Cup circuit. The area is also famed for its road cycling routes as Salzburg also held the World Championships in 2006. Cycles can be hired locally along with cycle tours for intermediate level and above.
The Adventure Centre Flachau offer fully guided and qualified instruction in all kinds of mountain adrenaline pumped activities. The centre is for people of all ages and offers family activities or singular activities. ACF offer (among many other things) white water rafting, pot-holing, canyoning, hiking tours, paragliding and quad biking.
Ski:
Haus Susanne can accommodate a maximum of 10 adults in double beds then up 6 more in a combination of bunk Beds and pull-out beds. We also offer well priced bed and breakfast accommodation. After a sauna to help you ease your muscles, why not spend an evening in our heated log cabin party hut soaking up the sunset and the fantastic views.
