Brand new apartment finished to a high standard with all facilities. Set in a spa resort at the foot of the Champery telecabin with easy access to the Portes Du Soleil ski area. It also benefits from indoor and outdoor swimming pool and leisure facilities all year round with mineral water coming out of the rocks at 34 degrees. The landscaped grounds also have tennis courts, restaurant and bar facilities available. There are also many mountain walks of varying grades or mountain biking trails to occupy more athletic souls. There are golf courses around the town of Champery and Monthey both within easy reach by local shuttle train up or down the mountain. Lac Leman is also a short train or car ride from the village as is Montreux both provide amply leisure pursuits both on and off the lake, particularly during film week. Chamonix and Lac Emosson (dinosaur footprints) are days out by train or car. Italy is also just a few hours over the pass by car or train to either Milan or Turin.

This Spa resort is a small privately owned resort with all amenities close to the town of Champery. A small mountain train runs between Monthey at the mouth of the valley and Champery to the head of the valley. It is a quiet resort with good access to both the mountains and the Rhone valley. From here you can easily reach Geneva, Verbier, Evian, Montreux, Villars and northerm Italy either by road or rail. It is a spectacularly beautiful part of french speaking Switzerland with mountain walks and cycle paths crossing the surrounding peaks. It is easy to explore the hinterland and discover Chamonix, Martingy, Sion, Gstaad, Roches de Naye or the dinosaur relics at Lac Emosson. Equally if you require a relaxing break you can sit and relax in local bars and friendly cafes as the mood takes you. There is plenty to chill and enjoy in the resort itself without leaving the site, with a good restaurant and bar and outdoor tennis and swimming both indoor and outdoor with waters at around 33 degre

There are facilities on site at the local restaurant for breakfast (9 euros), lunch or dinner can be added to this demi-pension (26 euros) and is well worth trying with generous helpings of locally sourced food which is well cooked and promptly served by accommodating waitresses. Although there are other options in the local village as well as in the towns of Monthey and Champery which are easily accessed by car or local train. The train being very reliable and a scenic route which will add to any meal.

Tourist attractions
This apartment is ideally placed for a leisurely break all year round. The region offers plenty to see and do for families with attractions for children close by. The Steam Parc at San Gingolph, fishing in Lac Leman, walking or watching the marmottes at Roches De Nahe, exploring the salt mines at Bex or climbing up to Lac Tanay. Alternative there are many cultural attractions in Martigny and Monthey as well as the Roman remains and ampthitheatre in Martigny A visit to the many glaciers and the dinosaur footprints at Lac Emosson are always popular too. The Chamonix valley is also popular for mountain biking and whitewater rafting. Alternatively there is always the option of a quick shopping trip over the Italian border if you like travelling over the mountain pass down the Aosta valley to Turin. These are but a few of the the many attractions that await guests coming to this part of Switzerland out of the winter season.
Skiing Information:
This apartment is close to the Champery Ski Telepherique, being one stop down the line on the mountain railway. There is also a ski bus service which is also included in the lift ass fee. This runs from the village of Villle D'illiez up to Le Croset during the winter season. Both access the extensive ski region of the Portes du Soliel on the Swiss French border and offer some of the best skiing at altitude in the region. There are a range of runs from beginner slopes to more challenging black runs which a good range of bars and restaurants to choose from for those wishing to take it at a more leisurely pace. The apartment offers ski lockers and drying facilities for ski wear as well as excellent swimming facilities both indoor and outdoor with the added benefit of the mineral spa waters to swim in should you feel so inclined. There is also a bar and restaurant on site if you wish to book for meals after a long day on the slopes.
