Our 2nd Floor apartment is casually furnished. The entry phone system ensures security. There is air-conditioning and central heating. The foyer leads into the lounge dining area, a south facing room with an open-plan lay out, and a breakfast bar separates it from the kitchen which has a 4 ring hob, a grill/oven, fridge and washing machine. There are kitchen utensils, cutlery and crockery. The lounge has French windows and is furnished with a quality sofa bed and chairs and a tv, dvd player and cd player for entertainment. The dining area provides ample space for 4 adults to dine. The lounge may be converted into a double bedroom. The bedroom has a sunny southern outlook and a balcony where alfresco cocktails and meals may be enjoyed. The accommodation in this room consists of twin beds converting to a king size bed. It also has a huge wardrobe. The separate bathroom has bath with overhead shower, wc, bidet and washbasin. All linens and towels, both beach and bathroom, are provided.

Situated in a quiet street, 2 blocks from the Promenade des Anglais, our stunning apartment is convenient to the shops, restaurants and beaches of Nice, Capital of the Cote d’Azur. Located on rue Marechal Joffre,in the famous Carre d’Or, a supermarket is readily available just minutes away and also an excellent bakery for your morning croissants. The renowned pedestrian zone with its’ abundance of restaurants and nightlife is just minutes away as are the beaches of the Promenade des Anglais. There is Parking just outside the building should you decide to hire or even bring your own car and the new tram system is very convenient. Just 10 minutes walk brings you to the centre of Nice with all the high-class shopping which a cosmopolitan city like this provides Nice- Cote d’Azur airport is only 10 minute by bus and the new tram system in Nice makes the whole area very accessible.

This is a lovely, cute apartment, it was just the ticket for the two of us. Brilliant base from which to explore and we enjoyed the market across the road! Five minutes walk to see shore and amazing promenade. Loads of eating places, culture, coffee shops,boutiques etc within easy walking distance. Or with all the cooking utensils to hand in the apartment buy some of the excellent local produce from fish & general market across the road and dine in!
This is definitely a location we will revisit, we didnt get to do all the things we thought we would fit in, so we have to go back!
Have recommended your apartment and NICE etc to everyone we talk too.

A really well presented and comfortable apartment in a lovely old traditional french building.
Fresh food market and supermarket close by.
We breakfasted at a little boulangerie on the corner of the street and watched the world go by.
Only a short stroll to the beach or 15 minutes to the old town.
Spoilt for choice when it came to dining out.
We had a wonderful few days and will return.

Great Location in a Lovely City

The apartment is situated in the heart of Nice, five minutes' stroll from the beach and across the road from a well stocked supermarket and an excellent fresh goods market. Rue de France, with scores of restaurants, is two streets away. The street is crowded with parked cas, so parking for visitors could be a problem.

The apartment is on the second floor of a pleasant block, with a good sized lounge and kitchen, and a comfortable bedroom. The bedroom has twin beds which can be combined into a double, and a balcony with a table and chairs. Everything worked well, the furniture is comfy and in good order, and the apartment was very clean and well maintained. The meeting to receive the keys was quick and efficient, and everything was clearly explained. Although the street is quite busy during the day, it is quiet at night.

One minor caution: be careful having a shower. The bath has a row of flat tiles running around its edge, and the water from the shower can run around it and soak the bathroom floor! Other than that, it is an excellent, very good value for money apartment, and we would certainly consider staying there again.

The centre of Nice is very attractive, with fountains and gardens, and the Col de Chateau, a hill near the Old Town, gives great views of the beach, the Old Town and the port. The Col is green and shady, a great place for a picnic. The Old Town is an interesting maze of crowded narrow alleys, and the adjoining street Cours Saleya hosts a lot of good restaurants and a famed fruit and veg market. Nice is also a great base for exploring the Riviera. A trip to Eze is recommended: a walk up a hill through tiny winding streets leads to a tropical garden and stunning coastal views. In the other direction, the Old Town part of Antibes is beautiful and delightful. We can't wait to return!

Comfortable, well equiped, well located apartment

My friend and I stayed at this apartment for 10 days during August and had a super time. I've outlined a number of reasons as to what made this apartment special, and they are in no particular order!
- It was like a home away from home - everything you could possibly need in terms of mod cons
- very comfortable - seperate bedroom and sitting room means that you can relax as you do at home!
- Aircon, aircon, aircon - people this is the south of france - do not compromise!
- location, location, location -
- boulangerie up the road
- Market across the road
- super market up the road
- 2 mins from the beach
- 2 mins from the promenade
- just under 15 minute walk from the vielle town - you may think this is long, but it really isn't, cos it's a lovely walk and we looked forward to it every evening
- 10 mins from the shops!
- perfect for the bus form the airport
- perfectly located for the buses to do tours out of town
- safe, secure, quiet,
- go go go
