5 star accomodation for fabulous holiday

This was the second time I have enjoyed a fabulous holiday in this particular villa and can hardly wait to return-I think that speaks for itself. The villa has every resource available and the owner clearly wants it to be a 'home from home' experience. The property is beautiful, tastefully furnished and stylish, clean and well maintained. We particularly appreciated the luxury of the pool, the terrace is a super place to sunbathe and relax or sit in the shade and enjoy the fresh, local food or a glass of wine. The ambiance in the villa is cool and calming, we were exhausted by doing nothing! Hudson, being a 2 hr drive from Orlando, is away from the Disney attractions but is still well placed for theme parks in Tampa, the International Plaza for great shopping, nature reserves and some wonderful beaches including Clearwater. We have seen dolphins in the bay at Tarpon Springs before but this year they swam in the wake of our boat, leaping out of the water so close to us. They even accompanied the boat back up the bayou to the dock. It was a breath taking experience. We would recommend an overnight stay in Orlando for a theme park spree. We have found The Hilton Garden Hotel opposite Sea World to be comfortable, conveniently situated and extremely reasonable compared to UK prices. Sam's Bar at Hudson beach is a great place to watch the sun go down whilst having a good supper and a drink. They have live music some nights. Restaurants we revisited were The Red Lobster for delicious lobster and shrimp, Cody's Ranch house for steak(and yes it really is acceptable to sweep all your peanut shells onto the floor!) Try the stack of onion rings and plan to share. The Olive Garden is good for Italian cuisine. Ihop is open around the clock but is great for breakfast pancakes. A trip to Walmart is a must-you can buy anything from a box of matches to a gun!!
Whatever you want to do, its all here and this villa is a wonderful base to do it all from. However if all you want is relaxation, well this place is a little slice of paradise.....and its not called the Sunshine State for nothing! Susan, from the UK

Owner's Response: I was very gratified that Susan saw what has been our aim. To fulfill every requirement on your vacation and keep the house up to date and comfortable and to enhance your experience on this side of the state which has as much to offer as any other part of Florida. Relaxation and fun is the name of the game here. Enjoy. Rose-owner
