El Granero is one of several properties at Molino la Ratonera, a watermill set in a lush river valley. The location of this mill, in the heart of rural Andalucia, is within easy reach of Granada, Malaga, Seville and Cordoba and yet its rural situation provides a haven for wildlife and an excellent environment for walking, birdwatching or relaxing. El Granero was rebuilt in the location of the grain store above the old 16th century mill room. El Granero has 2 bedrooms and a fully equipped bathroom. The sitting room/dining area and kitchen are open plan and lead on to a large covered terrace which overlooks the waterfall and is a beautiful place to sit and watch the wildlife in the river and woods. The house is equipped for up to 4 guests with 1 double and 1 twin bedroom. Its position, built into the rock and close to the river ensures that this house stays refreshingly cool in the hot summer months.

Molino la Ratonera is situated among rolling olive groves in the heart of rural Andalucia and provides an ideal centre from which you can explore Granada, Seville and Cordoba. Closer to the mill you will find Iznajar, with its huge lake and beach, Alhama de Granada and Montefrio. The rural location means there is excellent walking and birdwatching right on the doorstep. Both Granada and Malaga airports are nearby and provide a wide selction of low cost flights from regional airports in the UK.
