Photos and Description of this Tarn holiday farmhouse 4 Bedrooms, all en-suite. Huge salon with fireplace. Large modern kitchen.

La Vallee is large stone built farmhouse that has been restored and furnished to a high standard. It is set in 6 acres of peaceful and beautiful countryside, close to the bastide village of Puycelsi (one of France's 'plus beaux villages'). There are four large bedrooms (2 doubles, 2 twins), each with its own ensuite bathroom, a fabulous double height salon with fireplace, dining room and kitchen with all modern appliances. Outside, there are two large terraces and two outdoor eating areas to choose from. A large round table looks over the valley and there is also one close to the pool area. A gas barbeque is provided. The pool, which is heated to extend its useable period, is surrounded by plants and shrubs, making it an ideal area in which to relax, as well as take some exercise. This is an idyllic spot for peaceful relaxation, with plenty of space for children to enjoy themselves in the pool and work off some energy.

The area has a wealth of interesting places to visit. Puycelsi, which can be seen from the house, is a delightful medieval bastide village, with several restaurants. Castelnau de Montmiral is another nearby attractive bastide village with restaurants, a few shops and a small supermarket. Albi, with its immense brick cathedral and Toulouse-Lautrec museum, St Antonin Noble Val and Cordes sur Ciel are close by and make very worthwhile outings. La Vallee is in the wine growing Gaillac area. Wine has been produced here since Roman times. The local wine, especially the red, make good everyday drinking at reasonable prices. The town of Gaillac houses a wine museum and has a wide range of shops, restaurants, supermarkets and a weekly market. Nearby there is a leisure centre with fishing, boating and swimming lakes, tennis courts, crazy golf and a summer cafe. The Foret de Gresigne is on the doorstep, providing ideal walking territory and horse riding is available from the local stable.

  • The house has two staircases. Bedrooms 1 & 2 are accessed from the kitchen whilst the other two are acessed via the salon. All are spacious with ample hanging space and drawers. A fold away bed and cot are also available.

Seit Jahren machen wir Urlaub in französischen Landhäusern, und immer haben wir es hervorragend angetroffen. La Vallée aber toppt alles. Das riesige, gepflegte Gelände, das überdurchschnittlich ausgestattete Haus mit exklusiver, geschmackvoller Einbauküche, mit großräumigen, paradiesischen Schlafzimmern (mit Bad ensuite)und liebevoll gestalteten Terrassen lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die nähere Umgebung mit Puycelsi, Cordes sur Ciel, St.Antonin Noble Val, Gaillac und Albi lädt zu Erkundungen und Einkäufen ein. Die Besitzer von La Vallée bieten wirklich eine Menge zu einem vernünftigen Preis.
